I cannot find sufficient independent coverage for this to pass WP:GNG. sovereign°sentinel (contribs) 10:29, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, Notable event in Blues and music circles. Blues fests are a hard one to gauge at times. Many notable artists have and continue to attend this event. It has been running for 32 years now. Karl Twist (talk) 10:35, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. Major blues acts such as Etta James, Willie Dixon, Otis Rush, Big Joe Turner, Lowell Fulson, Junior Wells and Pee Wee Crayton have made appearances there.[1]. There's also Jimmy "Preacher" Ellis [2] There's Paul Butterfield, William Clarke, Linda Hopkins, Philip Sayce and Roy Gaines. All of them have appeared there.[3]. And there's Chick Willis [4], Phillip Walker [5], Jimmy Johnson [6] and Eddie Clearwater [7]. A festival attracting that high calibre of Blues acts is no mean feat. There's probably a load more of notable artists that have appeared. As I said, Blues fests are a bit more difficult thank others. Even more difficult than Jazz fests. Interesting article about the background of the fest in the Topanga Messenger Vol.31 No. 11 [8]. Bit more research on this one will no doubt bring up more evidence of it's notability. - Likely keep as although I haven't closely looked at the current sources, the article appears acceptable. SwisterTwister talk 04:03, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment, As the festival shows no sign of slowing down or ceasing at any time in the near future, every year it will continue to attract highly notable and legendary blues artists and performers. No doubt the patronage will increase. So in addition to my Keep vote, I'd like to add that this also needs to be taken into account. Thanks Karl Twist (talk) 10:44, 22 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
