- Merge, rename or split (for the latter, to Category:1854 establishments/Category:1855 establishments, Category:Establishments in Montana (if they were not disestablished before Montana came into existence), per my earlier comments on these categories. - REname to Category:1854 establishments in Oregon Territory, then purge any then in Washington territory into a category for that. There is a useful set of maps indicating the boundaries of the two territories and how these changed 1849-64. An alternative might be to have an omnibus category Category:1854 establishments in Oregon and Washington Territories, even a wider Category:1854 establishments in the United States territories, with a headnote stating that it was for United States terriotries that had not been admitted to the Union as states. I must oppose nom, as destroying geographic information. Recent precedent is that annual categories should be based on the political situation of the time, not the present, so that some change must be made. - Actually, Oregon Territory has nothing to do with this. Most of what is today Montana was in Nebraska Territory at this time, although the two articles involved here seem to have been established in what was Washington Territory.John Pack Lambert (talk) 03:14, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete -- The one article is about a person who claimed he had been framed: that was his defence, but he failed (partly for financial reasons) to establish that and was not exonerated. Accordingly, the category is based solely on the defendant's POV. This is not an adequate basis for a category. I did not follow the link allegedly to similar cases, but unless the case was particualrly notorious (and I do not know as I am in UK), I have to question whehte the article should not go to AFD. - Nominator's rationale: Delete. This is the only country based category of trucks. It is badly named. Does it cover trucks designed or build or assembled or operated in India? - OK, if you look at the contents, there are two articles (the company and brand) for vehicles that were produced beginning in 2012. The other contents are 6 truck articles. I suppose the first two should be removed since they are not trucks. The company, by the way, is 100% owned by Daimler AG which would make their products German, right? - Since when did trucks become a type of car? If you want want to do what you are suggesting, then this should be renamed to Category:Indian trucks and it, along with Category:Indian automobiles should be children of Category:Indian vehicles. Vegaswikian (talk) 19:02, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
