Nominator's rationale:Listify. This list already exists and so I think the films in this category should be added to it. Also, there is a clear lack of definition as to what is a metafictional film and what is not. If these movies were placed on this list, rather than isolated in a category, it's more likely that editors could spot mislabeled works. LizRead!Talk!14:06, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Keep -- There is no reason why we cannot have both a list and a category: we commonly do. The occasions when we do not allow a category are cases where: inclusion depends on the editor's POV; WP:OC#PERF; WP:OC#AWARD; and some more. I do not think any of these apply here. Delete/upmerge The parent Category:Self-reflexive films states: "This category deals with any metafictional films that are self-aware, break the fourth wall, or are centered on the creation of themselves." So what is the difference, and the point of this 2012 offshoot category? If someone can explain it to me, I'll consider changing my !vote but I don't see a clear and defining distinction.
