Nominator's rationale: The description of the category attempts to define the difference between the eponymous categories added here versus eponymous categories in Category:Wikipedia categories named after people, but I do not see how the contents of the eponymous categories would be different in either case. You don't have eponymous categories unless it contains "articles connected with these notable persons in a wide sense." StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 21:06, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: merge. bibliomaniac15 03:00, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: These appear to cover the same subject. All mints produce coins as far as I understand it. Not sure which way round to merge. Which seems clearer? Rathfelder (talk) 12:40, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Long list

Template:Ancient anaesthesia Template:Antioxidants C Template:Chloroform committees and commissions Template:Coffee Template:Components of opium Template:Convulsants Template:Cyanotoxins D Template:Depressogenics Template:Drug use Template:Drugs.com Template:Dysphoriants E Template:Enediynes Template:Entactogens M Template:Major drug groups N Template:Neurotoxins Template:Nitrogen mustards Template:Nootropics P Template:Pharmacomodulation Template:PharmNavFootnote Template:Pheromones and pherines Template:Physical dependants R Template:Regulation of therapeutic goods in the United States Template:Routes of administration, dosage forms S Template:Sexual dysfunction pharmacotherapies U Template:US drug laws Τ Template:ADHD pharmacotherapie

  1. the title drugs is the formal usage for recreational drugs, but mostly informal for medicine
  2. the templates about recreational drugs are in the "drugs" category. There's medical stuff in both categories, but this is the category for the stuff which isn't in the medical sphere. Given the huge cultural distinction between prescribed drugs and user-chosen drugs, it is unhelpful to stick them all under the same heading. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 00:43, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • That is why I said "loosely". Recreational drugs is apparently not an encyclopedic term and using just 'drugs' for that is ambiguous. Marcocapelle (talk) 05:29, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Converts to Anglicanism from Baptists

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more categories. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the category's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was: rename. for the sake of semantic correctness. A discussion about "converts" between different Protestant denominations will have to involve multiple categories and should be done at another time. bibliomaniac15 03:12, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Per consistency with other categories, such as Category:Converts to Catholicism from Baptist denominations, Category:Converts to Judaism from Baptist denominations, Category:Converts to Baptist denominations from Roman Catholicism, etc. I may be wrong but "from Baptists" does not sound syntactically correct either. Inter&anthro (talk) 01:18, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Fair comment, but better to be further discussed at Wikiproject Religion pages. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:01, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Nervous system and SS anatomy templates

The result of the discussion was: rename. bibliomaniac15 03:02, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: The term "SS anatomy" is unclear to me, and likely to other editors. I propose a rename to a plain English title that reflects the contents of the category. Tom (LT) (talk) 01:11, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
