I don't want to use my actual first name Shahid93 (talk) 14:38, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
I have read them, and understand that they apply to the edits I made. At the time that I listed my book, The Nature of Information, in the Further Reading section of the Wikipedia article on Information, I also added a link in the External Links section of the same article to a website that sells a copy of a paper on the same subject, not realizing that it was contravening Wikipedia policy. The listing for both the link and the book were removed, and I have since had correspondence with Wikipedia editors on the subject (see Talk: Information), and asked that the listing for the book be reconsidered on its own merits, separately from the link, whose removal I completely understand. In the process, I was advised by two Wikipedia editors to change my user name, as it also was counter to Wikipedia rules. All I want is to have my book reconsidered for listing in the article where it belongs, and am hopeful that a change of user name may facilitate that. I hope it does. Thank you. The request has been confirmed at the talk page. 64.231.10.53 (talk) 16:18, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
1) I forgot about this account, and am currently using this as a company name... against policy.
2) Too many usernames over time. Am revamping my system for continuity - therefore more user support for sites I use (no remembering logon = no use of site)
3) Don't want my name as part of my online ID
4) wiki site clarity: one set of instructions wants 3 reasons, this says "reason" implying one. please fix inconsistent instructions
Yes. I would still like to change my username to Blackburn 2000 and reattribute my edits. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Konabear1133 (talk • contribs) 01:12, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes I'm OK with my real name being used. Thanks. --Fitness-central (talk) 21:35, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
