Image initially removed from The General (locomotive) as failing WP:NFCC#8, where (A) free images exist of the same subject, and (B) there was nothing special enough about the 1939 exhibition of the locomotive to require use of a non-free image to show it. This is a screen shot of live video footage recorded during the Liberian Civil War. The organized peace protests during the war is what made this group famous and powerful. Yes, another peace protest can be organized in the future, but this is a historic document of the original event – which is now used as a model in other countries. • Strong Keep The women of Liberia were ordinary women who were not taken seriously and were completely ignored by warlords, politicians, journalists, and everyone else. Then once they became powerful, they were announced as "General Leymah and her troops." The photo is necessary to show what the women actually looked like during the war and at the time of their protests. They were always consistent in their dress (white t-shirts) with their home made signs. The photo is necessary to show that they were ordinary women, not revolutionaries, not supported by any outside interests, not funded by any outside sources, and yet, in spite of all that, they became a major political force. • Keep. Image shows a particular event, not a generic incidence of women protesting in Liberia. It adds to an understanding of the text of that section of the page, in a way that words alone would not. It shows, for example, the demeanor as well as the dress of the women, and the content, appearance, and composition of their signs.
