Listing non-SVG logo for discussion. Just because the logo has a SVG extension that does not make it a SVG logo. The logo's uploader argues otherwise. However, the logo is pixelated and is just a PNG version saved as a SVG logo. – Sabbatino (talk) 07:47, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how this can be his own work - Shark Island Institute owned image of Executive Director Ian Darling. Photographed as host of Good Pitch in 2016. - likely taken from Shark Island Institute Gbawden (talk) 07:49, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the older version of the file is taken from https://science.sciencemag.org/content/323/5910/49/tab-pdf which doesn't show a free licence. The more recent version might be a derivative work too. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 11:14, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Two years ago I closed a discussion Wikipedia:Files_for_discussion/2018_November_26#File:XTC_Go_2.jpg which established that this file is probably nonfree, but a year ago Game4brains unilaterally overrode that decision. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 11:28, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There is no evidence in the source that the file is freely licenced, and it should probably be dealt with like a non-free logo. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 11:30, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is publicly available for download from the club's website. However, fair use licence can be suitable! Gnslps (talk) 09:03, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The older versions of this file look very much like films or posters, and the title of the file also endorses the notion that this image was derived from a TV series. I am not so sure about the most recent version, though. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 11:32, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This image is certainly replaceable with a free resource. The chatbot article already has a few examples, there is no reason why a Facebook bot is so different as to warrant applying the fair-use doctrine. Ysangkok (talk) 18:41, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the previous FFD was handled correctly. This file was uploaded on top of an existing, unrelated file, and the description was not changed. Therefore the uploader did not explicitly make a claim of own work – the tag is left over from the old file. Given the name ("press photo") and the seemingly professional quality of the photo, I doubt that the uploader is actually the copyright holder. Wikiacc () 21:16, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
