After creating new articles and editing I have noticed that published not by my User name, IP address was placed. How to change it? IL68 (talk) 05:10, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
I've updated the James Villa Holidays page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Villa_Holidays) to remove 'parent - Wyndham Destinations' from the company infobox and this has not been reflected on the published page. The infobox is also showing elements which are not included in the source code... I cannot find a way to address this. Is it a bug or can someone help??
Thanks in advance! - — Preceding unsigned comment added by KLC JVH (talk • contribs) 09:34, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
On the page Rohingya genocide, I've added a campaign box (a navbox that goes at the top of an article, this one is on the right below the infobox and is called "Internal conflict in Myanmar"). Anyway, I added "|state=plain" to it, but it is still auto collapsing for me on Chrome, 1080p. Any tips for getting this to default to not collapsed? Please ping me in replies. Thanks. –Novem Linguae (talk) 11:47, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
state
parameter so your |state=plain
has effect.[1] Will you modify your signature to use spaces instead of underscores in the piped links? It doesn't affect rendering but is a little distracting in the source. PrimeHunter (talk) 12:34, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
| state = (({state|))}
works fine. I have added it.[2] PrimeHunter (talk) 23:28, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
So, I changed my skins under preferences just to experiment, before going back to Vector, with Legacy Vector activated. However, now there are subtle changes, most notably, in the top right corner, there is a clock to the right of the log out button. If I have to learn to live with it, that's fine, but does anyone know if there is a way to revert back to what I had before? Do other people see clocks or is this a paranoid delusion? ‡ Єl Cid of Valencia talk 13:35, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Can you revert this edit by ItsLife1 because of too disrupted with template and boldy fonts. The Supermind (talk) 14:27, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello!
I am writing a Wikipedia page for a nonprofit organization I volunteer at. I checked the requirements and we fit them regarding the amount of credible sources.
I am wondering if I need to disclose that I volunteer there? Is it a conflict of interest? I will be sure to remain objective and keep a neutral tone about what we do.

I've just created Grands Goulets but can't get File:Grands Goulets.jpg to display. Help! Alansplodge (talk) 16:09, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
There is an article for M. Cathleen Kaveny and one for Cathleen Kaveny. Her first name is Malvina, but she goes by Cathleen or "Cathy." They are the same person. How do you resolve that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by AntonioPenza1919 (talk • contribs) 16:29, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
|discuss=
parameter to define which talk page should have the conversation about this. (I suggest the talk page of the article you want to keep.) Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 17:12, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
I am a Mongol myself and it deeply offends me to see such an article. Mongolia is not part of the East Asian cultural sphere, it is part of the Central Asian cultural sphere. Although it has been influenced by Buddhism, most other aspects remain deeply Central Asian, and to say to two conflicting groups both of whom have a great dislike for each other that their cultures are similar and/or have been influenced by the Chinese culture is a simple case of misinformation and bias. Mongolia is not entitled to be part of this no matter the historical rendering, it has been its own culture distant and against the Chinese culture for thousands of years and to simply entitle it as "part of the Sinosphere" is not only false fact-wise but also an insult to the Mongolian people and culture. Turkic/Mongolic nomadism is vastly different from the Chinese agricultural way of life, our religion (Tengrism) is animalistic and has several thousand deities. Our way of writing is based on a Syriac derived script with many similarities to Arabic and Persian scripts. Even our modern writing system: Cyrillic, is a European writing system brought in by the Russians. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:151:100:55:2CDE:F8A1:9A49:AC11 (talk) 16:41, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

Hello. An editor accidentally messed up a table while adding some (presumably) good info, so I didn't want to revert it, but I'm not too good with tables, so my tinkering was unsuccessful and I couldn't repair it myself. Here is the table, just scroll down a bit; you can't miss it: AJR (band)#As lead artist. Thank you for your assistance! Thanks, EDG 543 (message me) 22:54, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

to designate a new row, which I've added. Some table cells (particularly those in adjacent columns) might need to be delineated. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 23:31, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Hi,
I updated my father's wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duris_Maxwell - but quickly learned, as changes were revereted, that I broke the rules re: official sources, and possible conflict of interest.
His page is one of the first things that comes up and I want to reflect that he passed on November 25, 2020, but don't want things removed again.
Here is a link to his obituary.
https://www.devlinfuneralhome.ca/obituary/Duris-Maxwell
How can this safely be added as a citation/source, his date of death added, and the biography of a living person, removed. I also wanted to make some small tense edits, etc.
Help would be appreicated. I want to do it right.
Thanks

Hi, how come the text in the first two columns of the table in this section starts beneath that in the third one? How can that be avoided / fixed?--Hildeoc (talk) 23:19, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
style="vertical-align: top;"
per Help:Table#Vertical alignment in cells.[3] But I also added line breaks because I think the verses should be aligned. That means vertical-align
only matters if the window is narrow enough to cause line wrapping in the cells. PrimeHunter (talk) 23:51, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
I have posted the following to administrator Malcolmxl5 who finalized the removal of The Strap-Ons article in July 2020. Is this how to remedy the deletion of an article?
"I have some questions because I posted a different version of a wikipedia article that was removed. I understand why it was removed and sorry for the extended delay and have created a totally revamped article which I believe has resolved the issues of proving notability and providing citations.
My first question is, did I post it in the proper way so that you can review it. If not, let me know the correct procedure. If it is okay the way I have posted it, can you please review it and give suggestions on how to improve it to follow wikipedia guidelines and rules.
I have gained a lot of information through this experience: the importance of providing citations that show notability. I appreciate your help in this matter and look forward to hearing from you with recommendations on proper procedures to follow and ways to improve the article."
