Contested disambiguation page. Redirect can mean both Timeline of Amazon.com and Timeline of Amazon history. wumbolo ^^^ 20:48, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Rail transport in Socotra

The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) B dash (talk) 03:00, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The target doesn't say anything about rail transport. Frankly, I'm not sure if there even is anything to say about this, because it is a non-topic. -- Tavix (talk) 18:54, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • None of what you quoted says anything about rail transport. -- Tavix (talk) 16:03, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Indeed not, but given that sentence and the totality of the section it is clear to anyone reading it that there is no rail transport on the island. That tells people more about rail transport in Scorotra than a redlink would. Thryduulf (talk) 16:08, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
      • I disagree on both of your points. For example: public transportation could be limited to minibuses and car hire, but there could be a private rail connecting a mining operation in the mountains to a port. A redlink would at least be honest about the fact that Wikipedia does not have this content instead of misleading readers into thinking there is content when there is none. -- Tavix (talk) 16:16, 8 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
        • the thing is that we do have information about rail transport on Scotora - there is none and the article is clear enough about that. We don't need to spoonfeed things that are already clear. A redlink would be actively unhelpful for those who aren't lucky enough to find this discussion in search results. Several working titles for his second album are given, but not this one. Given that they were discussed over 10 years ago, this a very unlikely search term. Can we WP:HAMMER something for a former future work? BDD (talk) 18:21, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
