Democratic tickets
A bit too vague to be useful (contrast Democratic party tickets), I'd suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 16:14, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- I can see how these would hypothetically be vague, but would want to see competing usages before I could support deletion. --BDD (talk) 19:16, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. I see no evidence of the term "Democratic ticket" or "Republican ticket" being used outside the US. There do exist tickets for state gubernatorial elections, but the presidential ticket is arguably a primary topic. In any case I see no difference between this and Democratic party tickets. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 20:59, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Darren Douglas
This was kept before (Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2013 December 27#Darren Douglas) but it seems to be the first name and middle name of a person mentioned in the article, and it looks like this was not noticed at the last discussion. There are other articles where people with this name are mentioned, or where these are first name and middle name of the subject. Peter James (talk) 16:58, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy keep: Attested archaic spelling, what's wrong with that? "it's inappropriate to create redirects for every possible obsolete/archaic spelling variant of every word that was ever used" with a link to WP:PANDORA? Why is it inappropriate? These are helpful redirects; I encourage editors to create other similar redirects, and I have no idea how PANDORA is supposed to apply here. 𝟙𝟤𝟯𝟺𝐪𝑤𝒆𝓇𝟷𝟮𝟥𝟜𝓺𝔴𝕖𝖗𝟰 (𝗍𝗮𝘭𝙠) 20:03, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Welch language
Brand newly created, "Welch" is an archaic spelling of "Welsh", but per WP:PANDORA, there's no reason to create redirects to every page that contains "Welsh" in the name replaced with an archaic spelling. The dab page at "Welch" already indicates this. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 16:50, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- If archaic spelling is inappropriate, then why we have Scotch language redirecting to Languages of Scotland? It should be deleted as well (there should be no citing of WP:OTHER since we are talking about redirect deletion here, not article). --Soumya-8974 talk contribs subpages 17:05, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Weak Delete (was Neutral): I created this link after a request at AFC. I researched it first and found an 1816 book, An English and Welsh vocabulary: or, An easy guide to the antient British language. To which is prefixed, a grammar of the Welsh language, by T. Richards. Also, A dissertation on the Welsh language, by J. Walters. However, Google search results and Google Books have it mis-titled as An English and Welch vocabulary: or, An easy guide to the antient British language. To which is prefixed, a grammar of the Welch language, by T. Richards. Also, A dissertation on the Welsh language, by J. Walters which fooled me (search, book). I was going to be "neutral" until I realized I'd been fooled - along with a lot of other people - by a bad transcription. It's a "weak" delete because the term still pops up in unrelated search results (search, example). davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 17:17, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep as a standard ((R from obsolete spelling)): well attested in the older literature [1] [2] [3]. – Uanfala (talk) 17:22, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirects are there to aid linking and searching. Anyone searching for information on the Welsh language is not going to be spelling it like this. At best, they simply don't know that "Welch" is an archaic spelling of "Welsh", but Wikipedia is not a dictionary, and it's inappropriate to create redirects for every possible obsolete/archaic spelling variant of every word that was ever used. As I already mentioned, the dab page at Welch already lists this fact, and that's more than enough for our purposes. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 17:34, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- We very definitely do create redirects for attested historic spellings. This redirect is not for readers who come with the intention of reading about the Welsh language, but for those who encounter this particular term in the literature and come here to check what it is (or to double-check it is what they believe it is). I don't see the relevance of the page Welch and its mention, buried very deep, of this alternative spelling – readers who search for "Welch language" will not land at that page. – Uanfala (talk) 17:48, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per Uanfala. I will never understand how in the world PANDORA applies to an attested alternative spelling, but there you go. -- Tavix (talk) 18:43, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

2019–20 California energy crisis
- Comment: リダイレクト先の記事で2020年の内容がどこにも書かれていないため、 "2019–20" という記事名は不適切。 /
This article only mentions 2019, so wrong the title "2019–20". The article title "2019–20" is inappropriate because the portion of 2020 is nowhere mentioned in the target article. Portal18 (トーク | 投稿記録) 10:04, 3 September 2020 (UTC) / Corrected English text. Portal18 (トーク | 投稿記録) 23:58, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Assuming this has gone into 2020—I thought so, though I don't follow the issue closely—it would be better to expand the article, and perhaps move it to this title. I thought about Energy in California as a potential target, though it doesn't really discuss this. --BDD (talk) 15:26, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- English translation of the nom's rationale: The article title "2019–20" is inappropriate because the portion of 2020 is nowhere mentioned in the target article. --Soumya-8974 talk contribs subpages 18:01, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete These shutoffs were intended to prevent fires and it seems they are likely to continue as time goes on. They are likely to happen around the same time each year (late summer or fall), so the shutoffs for the two years are not connected. Unless someone changes the title and the scope to reflect all California public safety power shutoffs, this redirect is not helpful. —Naddruf (talk ~ contribs) 17:32, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Center for Global Ministries
No strong connection to Liberty University here. It's a thing at Liberty, but there's also this organization, one at Oklahoma Christian University, one at Regent University, and a variety of Church of the Nazarene and Seventh Day Adventist organizations. That's just from a quick Google search. Too ambiguous to be a useful redirect. Hog Farm Bacon 15:55, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ranpat falls
Not mentioned at the target, delete unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 15:49, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Eddie Gilstrap Motors Fall Classic
These races appear to be distinct, although held at the same location. No mention at the target. Note that Eddie Gilstrap Motors ARCA Fall Classic redirects to ARCA Menards Series and appears to refer to the same subject, although it's not mentioned by name there either. I would weakly lean towards redirecting to ARCA Menards Series on that basis. signed, Rosguill talk 15:46, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Primera Plastics 200
Not mentioned at the target. Seems to be a different race, albeit held at the same location. Berlin Raceway or ARCA Menards Series East could be more appropriate, but there's no mention there either. Delete unless a duly sourced mention can be added somewhere. signed, Rosguill talk 15:42, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Dora the explorer
Created as a two-line unencyclopedic draft and then redirected to the main article. Given that no content from the two-line draft seems to have migrated to the mainspace article, and the fact that terms with the draft prefix aren't particularly plausible search terms, I think we're better off without this. Hog Farm Bacon 15:32, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Demonic Dinosaur
Doesn't seem to quite meet WP:G10, but I don't think this is a great redirect to keep around. Hog Farm Bacon 14:38, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Barney... Let's Imagine Tour in Manila
Not mentioned at target article. Only seems to be mentioned at List of entertainment events at the Araneta Center, in a table that only gives the dates and name of the show. I guess we could retarget there, but deletion seems better. Hog Farm Bacon 14:37, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Moooon
Obscure synonym. Soumya-8974 talk contribs subpages 14:03, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. So obscure that I can't even find a single reference to it anywhere. It's more plausible as a typo for "moon" for someone with a sticky O key, but even that's pretty implausible. (We don't even have one with 3 O's, which I probably shouldn't mention per WP:BEANS, but whatever). –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:28, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - Seems I created this WP:Redirect some time ago (11 October 2018) - at the time, there may have been a very good WP:RS suggesting "moooon" as another name for a "moon of a moon", or Subsatellite - although I found these references,[1][2][3] I'm unable to locate an even better WP:RS reference at the moment - *entirely* ok with me to do whatever WP:CONSENSUS decides of course - Drbogdan (talk) 14:45, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep as unambiguous. It's an ((R from move)), so and WP:FILEREDIRECT apply. The difference between this redirect and the target is that this redirect employs a curly apostrophe instead of a straight one. — J947 ‡ message ⁓ edits 03:58, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: Redirects should work if the reader will use it at least on the search bar. A curly apostroph doesn't change anything, in addition to the redirect page with zero incoming links from other pages. nyxærös 06:14, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. This was only at the original title for less than a day. Fixing any incoming links is a trivial matter. Link rot concerns don't apply for such a short time at the original title. Redirects to files are not especially useful to begin with, since they're not being searched for by readers, and for NFCC stuff specifically, since their use is so limited. This should really be a speedy criterion for this. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:21, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
