I happened to come across this and was surprised... not the topic/redirect I expected at all... Dominant Language and Language dominance are two different things. While it can refer to imperialism, it is more often used as the dominant language in a person's mind or daily usage. I looked for a better target to redirect to, but could not find any; the topic does not seem to be given any attention. • From a quick browse, it appears that the terms "language dominance" and "dominant language" can refer either to an individual's psychological reality (which of the several languages the person speaks is the main one) or to a social fact (which language is the most widely spoken, or has higher prestige and institutional support). I can't see any treatment of either topic on Wikipedia (for the first one, there's minor mentions in Multilingualism and in First language, but neither is useful for readers who may be using this redirect).
