The content in the page history doesn't appear to be at all useful as it consists of legal advice specific to the UK and I suspect it may have been copied from somewhere. • Oppose deletion - the point of this particular redirect is to prevent people from having to copy and paste Please do not... Oppose an item solely because the event is only relating to a single country, or failing to relate to one. This applies to a high percentage of the content we post and is generally unproductive. every time someone makes the irrelevant complaint that a proposed blurb is only relevant to the US. • Keep - well used term. All you have to do is search for the term "holocaust" in the article, where reliable sources can be seen. See also Irish Holocaust. This is a WP:BEFORE failure - perhaps User:Estar8806 could remove it. If the term was some kind of retronym, I could see the concern (though would still remain notable) - but this use long predates the 20th century - and was in used in the English media during the Famine - for example see this 1847 newspaper article from the Newcastle Guardian.
