Hello. I think that Fashionjoker was blocked due to the User:Lasagna98/User:KweennyG spamfarm, so maybe this report belongs there.

PixelatedLion edited Draft:Roberto Rivera (businessman), which has been edited by socks of this master. Steeler.nayshun has edited Draft:Merchants Fleet, like Rivera, recently edited by PixelatedLion. This is very suspicious considering the topics (spammy writing style).

Also, can we check if this is related to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Americanpie1996 sockfarm?(there is some overlap). US-Verified (talk) 10:52, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

information Administrator note - PixelatedLion was already blocked by User:Spicy as noted here. Steeler.nayshun is quacking pretty loudly, but I think we need a bit more evidence. I don't know if SPI has their version of WP:ROPE, but that's my sense of this. - jc37 20:05, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This user account is 3+ years old; did the mandatory ten edits, then went to sleep for 3 years; woke up to mainly edit their user page (I think the intention is to make it look like an established account?), and has now created two articles with socking in the past.

First is Draft:Jiani Zeng. This was deleted following an AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jiani Zeng that only closed yesterday, which seems a bit too much of a coincidence to me timing-wise. That version had been created, and then defended at the AfD, by multiple socks of Americanpie1996, so it seems like an obvious master suspect to me.

Second is Draft:Butlr, which is connected to the other draft in that Zeng is a co-founder of Butlr. This draft was previously created by Global fanatics, who is apparently also a sock... but of a different farm, that of Aniflower.

Other than DahSound themselves, I couldn't find a connection between these two. Could be that DahSound is unconnected to either, maybe a new UPE chasing the same bounty, and not a sock at all? I dunno, this is as far as I get. Requesting CU to confirm, as the evidence is a bit sketchy, and to check for sleepers. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:29, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was coming here to say the exact same thing, but DoubleGrazing beat me to it. :-) In any case, now removed threads on their talk page like [2] and [3] set off alarm bells in my head, especially when from memory the two articles mentioned above look very much like the other original articles before they were deleted. -Kj cheetham (talk) 13:28, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
