The purpose of this project is to gather Wikipedians of a mature age for mutual support and encouragement in the editing and improvement of the encyclopedia, which is our legacy for the future. All members are urged to make proposals on the Talk page for projects that the group can undertake (click here), or the fleshed-out ideas can be posted directly on this introductory page, under "Our tasks," below, in the spirit of WP:Bold, revert, discuss.
Our tasks[edit]
- Combine our strengths to improve articles in which we as older Wikipedians are particularly interested
- Publicize this project and recruit members by postings and by invitations throughout Wikipedia
- Give guidance to younger editors by participating in the Wikipedia Teahouse and other Wikipedia Help centers
