Zirkuh Rural District (Persian: دهستان زيركوه) is in the Central District of Zirkuh County, South Khorasan province, Iran.[3] It is administered from the city of Hajjiabad.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Zirkuh District in Qaen County) was 7,676 in 1,833 households.[5] There were 7,799 inhabitants in 2,085 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,569 in 2,100 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Zirkuh County.[3] The most populous of its 41 villages was Bamrud, with 1,195 people.[2]
