Someone just discovered this SEO page and mentioned it at WP:AN; I thought people here would benefit from seeing it. No need to blacklist the URL itself. Nyttend (talk) 17:11, 4 December 2014 (UTC)

Report about these types of spam should go to WP:DEADLINKSPAM. Thanks, — Revi 05:08, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
Listing this here after noticing an increase of this type of spam - these ones all definitely related. -- zzuuzz (talk) 19:58, 31 October 2015 (UTC)
This is another I'm tracking at this time. See User talk:Denheforal. I'm sure I've seen some more which seem to be part of a pattern of "filling in links", so I figure it's worth starting to document them. -- zzuuzz (talk) 18:05, 1 November 2015 (UTC)

Same MO. Discovered after 192.162.100.74 tripped the deadlink filter. -KH-1 (talk) 23:29, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
I'm a bit concerned about the draft articles involved, and the diversity of the spam generally. I'll wager there's more to be found. -- zzuuzz (talk) 16:59, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

I found these user talk pages in external link search. In 2013 two users were blocked for spamming movietalkies.com. Later on some of the sock/meat puppets managed to spam them in large number of articles. Every month new Bollywood website comes up in Mumbai and the best way to promote is spam in Wikipedia as it's free advertisement. Please blaklist this as removing all of them is a time-taking affair. The website is not opening in my browser. And the website has no mention in third party reliable sources. If they remain in popular pages for sometime, then other innocent user might believe it's a reliable link and use the website for reference.--The Avengers (talk) 10:12, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Online steroid trader, dead link replacements. The usual M.O. of copy/pasting legit information from other Internet sources on an own subpage to increase traffic. Only 2 additions so far - I'll leave it to the experts, if anything needs to be done so early. Otherwise just take it as a general notification to be aware of possible future incidents. RomeshD created a biography for Senani Ponnamperuma which was recently deleted at AFD. Senani Ponnamperuma is apparently the owner of the two website listed above. A majority of RomeshD's edits involve adding links to the websites. It appears to me that this editor is here only to promote the two websites and their owner. My question is: are links to these websites suitable for either listing in external links sections or use as references? Or should they all be removed as spam and/or self-promotion? Today this IP 59.177.43.26 was spamming this link in Wazir. I searched for two hours, going through the differences to track this user Tihomv. The IPs are probabaly related to him. I am The Avengers. This is my alternate account. Please blacklist this and reduce our work. As i mentioned above with my previous account; new Bollywood sites pop out from Mumbai. In this case, the IP is from Delhi. --Galaxy Kid (talk) 14:53, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

coming from Wikidata i found that enwiki has about 180 links [8] to bfjaawards.com, which redirects to a viagra selling site. can you please take care? (i'm not really an active editor here, don't know how to deal with it)
notice: the URL imitates the website of Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards (bfjaaward.com, award without "s"). Holger1959 (talk) 18:49, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

She is promoting herself and her website indiancinemas.in in Bollywood and South Indian movies.--Galaxy Kid (talk) 17:11, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
I added the link to User:Galaxy Kid/Spam. So, COIbot added me also. Great. Galaxy Kid (talk) 18:53, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Special:Undelete/Indiancinemas.in was created by Mbsibin and Special:Undelete/Indiancinemas was created by Paulvinpaulson. The pages state that "Indiancinemas.in is an Indian online portal founded by Sibin M.B and Paulvin Paulson", which would explain the two usernames. I'll wait until the SPI is over, but this looks like it's headed for the blacklist. MER-C 17:30, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

This new user has suddenly taken an interest in American Civil War battlefield preservation (diff 1, diff 2, diff 3), historical sites (diff 4, diff 5, diff 6), and local points of interest (diff 7, diff 8, diff 9). Normally I would applaud a new user who's contributing information but as one can tell from the diffs, the user seems dedicated mostly to inserting links to colonialghosts.com. The editor's most recent edits seem to be deletion of the google+ site associated with the tour group (diff 10, diff 11, diff 12), but it seems the user is here primarily not to build an online encyclopedia, but to add advertising to one. For my part I have reverted every insertion by the user and have added escalating warnings to the usertalk. To AllieAbroad's credit, the user hasn't added anything back after my level four warning. There may be nothing for this board to do right now, but I wanted to file a report in the event another new user decides to take a similar interest in inserting the Colonial Ghost website to SE Virginia area pages. Affiliated websites from the same authors, developed and "advertised" by the same SEO ("SEO expert" in the sites' lower right corner), spammed by
Those websites don't provide reliable encyclopedic information (author page: snowgoosehuntingmaryland.com/about-us/). Vicol has already been blocked, but those links have been missed during the cleanup (cleaned them up now). GermanJoe (talk) 14:21, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
Kova Refurb (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · blacklist hits · AbuseLog · what links to user page · count · COIBot · Spamcheck · user page logs · x-wiki · status · Edit filter search · Google · StopForumSpam) This user is obviously just a company and their only edits have been to insert their website into articles. They haven't been active since 2013, but there's no point giving them warnings because the account does not represent an individual. The user should just be banned in case they ever become active again. McLerristarr | Mclay1 21:14, 16 November 2015 (UTC)

Obviously an account to represent Youth for Good Governance Philippines. In fact an article on Youth for Good Governance has been deleted recently. Only edited Norby Roque Salonga who according to the article is the chair of YGG.--Hariboneagle927 (talk) 09:33, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
