Beyt-e Vavi (Persian: بيت واوي, also Romanized as Beyt-e Vāvī) is a village in, and the capital of, Esmailiyeh-ye Jonubi Rural District of Esmailiyeh District, Ahvaz County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[3]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 728 in 145 households, when it was in Esmailiyeh Rural District of the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,217 people in 251 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,548 people in 361 households, by which time the village had been transferred to Esmailabad-e Jonubi Rural District in the newly established Esmailabad District.[3] It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
