Kalvari-ye Sofla (Persian: كلواري سفلي)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Falard Rural District of the Central District of Falard County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Lurs.[5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 576 in 112 households, when it was in the former Falard District of Lordegan County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 661 people in 154 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 829 people in 215 households.[2]
In 2022, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Falard County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Mal-e Khalifeh as its capital and only city.[4]
