Kamazan-e Vosta Rural District (Persian: دهستان كمازان وسطي) is in Zand District of Malayer County, Hamadan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Piruz.[4]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 4,163 in 1,083 households.[5] There were 3,486 inhabitants in 1,065 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,658 in 902 households. The most populous of its 12 villages was Piruz, with 821 people.[2]
