Kamyaran (Persian: كامياران), (Kurdish: کامێران), also Romanized as Kāmyārān and Kamêran,[3] is a city in the Central District of Kamyaran County, Kurdistan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 46,760 in 11,186 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 52,907 people in 14,007 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 57,077 people in 16,547 households.[2]
The city is populated by Kurds.[7]
