Kont (Persian: کنت) is a village in, and the capital of, Kont Rural District of Hiduj District, Sib and Suran County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[3]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,723 in 633 households, when it was in Saravan County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,880 people in 547 households,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county to become a part of the newly established Sib and Suran County.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,199 people in 845 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
