The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York covers New York, Bronx, and Richmond Counties in New York City (coterminous with the boroughs of Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island, respectively), as well as Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester counties in New York state. In these ten counties in the state, there are 296 parishes, along with a number of parish missions.[1]

Please be aware that in 2015, a number of parishes in the Archdiocese of New York were permanently closed and merged with other parishes.
