Nematabad (Persian: نعمت اباد, also Romanized as Neʿmatābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Baladeh-ye Sharqi Rural District of Khorramabad District, Tonekabon County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,423 in 642 households, when it was in Baladeh Rural District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,486 people in 778 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,597 people in 895 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
In 2019, the rural district was established in the district, with Nematabad as its capital.[4]
