Poltavsky District (Russian: Полта́вский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,800 square kilometers (1,100 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Poltavka.[1] Its 21,772 people (2010 Census) account for 32.3% of the district's total population.[3]
