Shahrestanak (Persian : شهرستانك )[ a] is a village in, and the capital of, Dashtabi-ye Sharqi Rural District of Dashtabi District , Buin Zahra County , Qazvin province, Iran .[ 4]
The village is populated by Azerbaijanians .[ 5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,564 in 404 households.[ 6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,556 people in 418 households.[ 7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,883 people in 553 households.[ 2]
