Zeynabad (Persian: زين اباد), also Romanized as Zeynābād and Zeīn Abad,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Zeynabad Rural District of Shal District, Buin Zahra County, Qazvin province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,611 in 372 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,647 people in 451 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,697 people in 491 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
