Are all the works in 'Works' mentioned with proper sources earlier? For those that are not it would be good to add inline citations
** Doing...Cinadon36 10:55, 21 April 2020 (UTC) Done. I removed a subsection of works published after his death. It seems that these titles didnot receive much attention by other authors.Cinadon3609:33, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I am impressed by the citations. I would suggest adding the '|trans-title=' and '|language=' parameters to foreign language sources. Does the Boulouque, Sylvain (2000) source have no identifier?
Doing.... On Boulouque, the ref was at the article before I got involved and I tried to respect all RS that I found. I do not not know french to double check the source. I just changed the format of the citation. Cinadon36 09:33, 23 April 2020 (UTC) After some consideration and lot of google-search, I removed the specific sentence. It was not of huge significance and I couldn't locate the source.Cinadon36 12:48, 23 April 2020 (UTC) As for the trans titles, I did it for Catelli's book, since I could spot the translated term in an article at The Guardia[2], but I am hesitant doing the same for Albert Camus : l'exigence morale (L'Esprit des Lettres) since that would be OR...Cinadon3613:24, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
He won the Nobel Prize in Literature at the age of 44 in 1957, the second-youngest recipient in history. Would be good to mention the first one too
It 's already there, at main body ("At age 44, he was the second-youngest recipient of the prize, after Rudyard Kipling, who was 42")Cinadon3617:48, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Camus was politically active. He was part of the Left that opposed the Soviet Union because of its totalitarianism These two lines would look better if combined by a semicolon or an emdash.
I have never come across a section title like 'Young Camus', also it's not so suitable as the previous section also describes most of his teenage (mostly up to 1933).. I wonder if 'Formative years' would look better?
The publication of this book in 1994 has sparked a widespread reconsideration of Camus's allegedly unrepentant colonialism I don't see why this needs to be a separate paragraph, looks better if merged with the previous one.
'Algeria' does not sound like a proper section title.. maybe something like 'Role in Algeria' works? Or maybe merge the material from here into previous sections?
The section is discussing the relation between Algeria and Camus. Maybe "Relation of Camus and Algeria"? Doesnt sound as a perfect title. I will think a little more, and if I do not come up with something else, I will add "Role in Algeria". Or maybe "Camus and Algeria", I have seen it used elsewhere in the literature, but cant remember where... Cinadon3614:54, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
