Could someone please add more info to the books section, for example info on the second wave of comics. And could someone please give the superhero name of Ororo Munroe in Amalgam? --Jamdav86 09:13, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
I made a larger, Vectorized version of the Amalgam logo yesterday. You're welcome to use it, but then again, I'm not positive what the image policy is here. Just know that if you want to use this (or tell me to fix something so you can) feel free. http://qwilman.com/misc/amalgamvector.gif 71.228.134.136 17:41, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Is it really necessary to have a complete list of Amalgam characters in the article? Because there is a list available here, and as you can see, it isn't short. --Pc13 12:49, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
Suggest merge of Terra-X into Amalgam Comics. Per WP:FICT, fictional characters have to have a reasonably high level of notability to get their own articles. Examples are Superman and Anakin Skywalker. Terra-X needs to level up quite a bit to reach that level. --John Nagle 06:11, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
None of the individual Amalgam characters are even close to being notable enough for separate articles as fictional characters. I'm sorry if people have spent a lot of time on these articles, but that's no justification for keeping articles that fail Wikipedia's standards of notability. They should all be condensed and merged into this article (because Amalgam as a whole is notable). - JasonAQuest (talk) 18:19, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Is it safe to merge all the Amalagam character articles into a list article? There really isn't much information on any one character for Amalgam. One list article seems like it would be alot better. RobJ1981 21:17, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Has there ever been any reason as to the change in the Earth designation number from Earth-9602 to Earth-692? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Redknight (talk • contribs) 18:34, 15 December 2006 (UTC).

Didn't they do cartoons for Iron Lantern, Dark Claw, and Aquamariner? See no mention of it in the article. mcnichoj (talk) 23:39, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
The cartoon advertisements were fake.--174.130.200.24 (talk) 03:12, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Reduced from "Top" to "Mid". Inter company collaborations are notable, but not critical to the overall history to the medium. Additionally, this event holds less significance since it was not the first such event, did not use signature characters as they usually appear, and was more a sales stunt than anything else. — J Greb 14:11, 6 January 2007 (UTC) |

I think that Earth 496 is the Amalgam universe in the DC continuity as the DC Wiki says that the Amalgam Universe is Earth 496. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:1705:535:A440:DFF8:7AE0:D07 (talk) 09:20, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
The sidebar lists Disney as the parent company. This was not true at the time of this relatively brief event. Is there a consensus that the current parent company is always the most appropriate one to list?
The Amalgam comics will be reprinted in an omnibus edition in August. Stein256 (talk) 00:32, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
