This article does not list the car's top speed. --BBGun06 20:21, 24 July 2006 (UTC) There is no picture of the standard C6 from the front
In this article, The Corvette is consider a hatchback. I find that crazy, so I am going to switch it to hardtop. Baseracer 22:56, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

I wonder if we could mention the Corvette C6RS concept-car then Jay Leno presented at the SEMA 2007 on Autoblog and at Jalopnik? This one use a 500 cid V8 and can use E85 sd-100 08:01, 29 October 2007
Whats the top speed for both C6 and Zo6 ? and how to recognize both of them rather than the air hole on the front ? A M M A R 21:42, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
From the exterior: Flared (wider) wheel arches. Z06 Badge on front drivers side wheel arch. Wider(?) air work back of front wheel arch, air intake on rear wheel arch, larger rotors (?). Easily found if you know what to look for. I don't know about the rear. There might be a different piece of aero work near the exhaust. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.16.229.32 (talk) 05:04, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Top speed for the base Corvette is 186 MPH, for the Z06 198 MPH, and the ZR1 205 MPH. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.216.91.40 (talk) 01:05, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
One line said "when you consider the small numbers of production cars.." blah blah blah.
Ok, I'll say this one more time. Its part of the wikipeda guidelines: no weasel words, no unsourced and biased statements. A wiki trace finds that GM is also editing this article.
Is there a way to ban all IP's in Detroit Michigan? Anyone know how? Scryer_360 (talk) 03:41, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

whats the weight of the standard c6? --98.246.94.67 (talk) 01:27, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
According to Chevrolet's website, the base Corvette coupe weighs 3,208 lbs. and the base Corvette convertible weighs 3,221 lbs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.216.91.40 (talk) 01:15, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
C6 is shorter than C5 due to C5 is too long for UK and Ireland. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.210.152.57 (talk) 08:41, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
A statement in the current Z06 section claims that source #10 says its 1/4 time is 10.8 seconds at ~139 mph. When you follow the source, it in fact says the time is 11.8. Maybe I'm missing something; maybe I'm not. Can somebody please confirm and change if necessary?--Chipdouglas (talk) 01:14, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
On the grounds that the various Hertz Mustangs get a mention in their model pages, I've added a short section on the Hertz Corvette ZHZ. While the initial suggestion was that they'd only be available for 2008-09, it seems that either there are still some uncrashed examples or that they've commissioned some more, as they're still showing up on Hertz' web-site into 2010. I hope this is true, coz I've reserved one for September...Mr Larrington (talk) 14:03, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
Why is there a targa top in the body styles? The Corvette is only available as a coupe with a removable roof panel and convertible, it says so on GM's website, so I'm going to take out the 2-door targa top. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.216.102.54 (talk) 16:32, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
Does anyone have a source for it? None is listed, and a Google search turns up a vid of a C5 fitted with a Duramax. If none is found, I'm voting we just delete it. Carguy1701 (talk) 00:22, 28 May 2014 (UTC)

It was a mistake to include a modified version anyway. I cited 8.2 L, then it was reverted to 6.2 L and back to 8.2 L all the way back to 6.2 L over the last few weeks. I decided it was all garbage, so I removed the specs. It's just a modified Z06 and it's actually based on the stock 7.0 L engine, not a 6.2 L. The reference was a CarBuzz one, but here's a more reliable reference that actually proves it's an 8.2. https://www.thedrive.com/news/35951/how-pratt-miller-made-the-ultimate-c6-corvette-with-an-8-2-liter-v8

By the way, the car wasn't completed by Chevrolet. It was modified by Pratt & Miller. It was NEVER a factory car. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.94.157.155 (talk) 06:56, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
