I don't understand why this article apparently is limited to a rather random selection of municipalities (CPH, FRB, Tårnby and Dragør). Those municipalities does not in any way represent the city of Copenhagen. Why not choose to have an article of the city that starts at Copenhagen City Hall and extend outwards with approximately 1,3 mio. inhabitants? That would be how the city would be limited had there not been random municipality borders. --Santac (talk) 06:43, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
I'm going to change number of people living in Copenhagen to 1,3 mio. That is the number of people living ind the continuous city starting from Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen and moving outward untill theres more than 200m between buildings. Thats the UN definition of a city. Look at the danish page. Unfortunately we also have people in Denmark misunderstading what a city is, so in the page history you will also find different numbers. Links: www.statbank.dk/BEV22, www.dst.dk The links provided for 0,8 mio does not show that theres 0,8 mio. people living in the city of Copenhagen. The first link directs to Danmarks Statistiks (DST) list of municipalities of Denmark, here Copenhagen has 0,6 mio. inhabitants since its only the municipality. The next link directs to a DST site where they have listed statistical provinces. They do not exist in the real world. Province Byen København mentioned in the link is the municipalities of Copenhagen, Gentofte, Tårnby and Dragør. Province Københavns omegn is the rest of the city of Copenhagen. The two numbers should be added to give an approxtimate number for how many lives in Copenhagen.
And the version of this page that was awarded Good article was with a population that included the whole city of Copenhagen. At the time it was 1,2 mio. --Santac (talk) 07:42, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
I was using the density numbers listed on the page (City: 4,400/km2, Urban: 4,600/km2, Metro: 1,200/km2) for comparison with other cities and they seemed lower than I had expected, so I checked the citation at https://www.statbank.dk/BEV22 and it doesn't appear to have any density statistics at all. The da wikipedia page is citing http://www.statistikbanken.dk/BY1 with a single value of 6,607 pr. km² (quite a bit higher than the values on this page which raises further suspicion) but the linked page also doesn't appear to list density directly. The pages appear to list total population count so maybe someone took these and did some calculations manually. Lastly, I found that https://www.statistikbanken.dk/BY3 actually has population density for "København (del af Hovedstadsområdet)" but the value is 8307.1/km2 so quite a bit higher still than any of the other values. I don't know how this area definition matches the City/Urban/Metro classification used in this article though. jonls | T | C 22:32, 27 August 2021 (UTC)

There's is 1.3 mio. inhabitants in Cophenhagen. You keep reverting my changes. The version that got af Good Article mark had 1.2/1.3 mio. inhabitants, so I don't understand why you don't accept its 1.3 mio.? --Santac (talk) 17:53, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
