Was it an upgrade to DIII ? Is the 2nd D for Divertor ? - Rod57 (talk) 14:24, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
I believe the given coordinates are incorrect. I think the fusion reactor is here: 32.902251, -117.228856. — ★Parsa ☞ talk 03:44, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
DIII-D is not a fusion reactor.
It is a tokamak used to investigate how to best build a fusion reactor.
The page should be moved to DIII-D (tokamak). — Preceding unsigned comment added by EmiliaWiki (talk • contribs) 13:05, 6 April 2018 (UTC)

It has been proposed in this section that DIII-D (tokamak) be renamed and moved to DIII-D. A bot will list this discussion on requested moves' current discussions subpage within an hour of this tag being placed. The discussion may be closed 7 days after being opened, if consensus has been reached (see the closing instructions). Please base arguments on article title policy, and keep discussion succinct and civil. Please use ((subst:requested move)) . Do not use ((requested move/dated)) directly. |
DIII-D (tokamak) → DIII-D – Please place your rationale for the proposed move here. GZWDer (talk) 18:26, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
