Hello, I have no idea how to edit anything here but i noticed that the link to "make me lose control" song leads to homoninous(?) Grey's Anatomy episode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.108.206.82 (talk) 18:31, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
I've removed the claim that The Beach Boys sing backing vocals on this song for the excellent reason that they don't. Brian Wilson allegedly sings bvs on "Hey Deanie" and "She Did It", but that's the extent of any BB involvement with EC. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrew G. I thought he did a show out of Australia with Bill Medley. I don't see it mentioned, am I wrong? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.22.218.208 (talk) 20:47, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
Because of the publicity regarding the DUI arrest of which the video of Eric Carmen's arrest was shown on truTV Presents: World's Dumbest..., it should be noted in the Personal life section of the article. Along with the linked TruTV citation with the video segment included, a local news report is another citation which gives details not in the TruTV citation. The stuff which Steelbeard1 tries (with perseverance worthy of a better application) to impose on us is totally negative. The only goal of Steelbeard1’s so-called «contribution» is humiliation and nothing else. The clip is not documentary neutral dashcam report. This is a stupid clown theatricality with a ugly grimacing and schadenfreude faces. The tone of clip is mocking, offensive and degrading. The sourse used in topic is kind of tabloid journalism and tabloid television.
«Material should not be added to an article when the only sourcing is tabloid journalism. When material is both verifiable and noteworthy, it will have appeared in more reliable sources»
″Biographies of living persons must be written conservatively and with regard for the subject's privacy. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a tabloid: it is not Wikipedia's job to be sensationalist, or to be the primary vehicle for the spread of titillating claims about people's lives; the possibility of harm to living subjects must always be considered when exercising editorial judgment.″
Material should be immediately removed.

This page is being vandalized repeatedly by an IP and a user name to include libel. Can someone help me stop this? Ip IP edits are 69.54.63.217 and user edits, almost word for word, is Cherrykid6. P37307 (talk) 12:59, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
Wanted to add a bit of detail on my edit for BATC. I changed "strong" reviews to "mixed". Of the 3 I found rather quickly the Marsh/Rolling Stone review is negative while the other two are somewhat mixed leaning towards positive. I realize these 3 sources are not conclusive, but they are not consistently positive either. I decided that the original editor likely meant strong to mean positive and the sources I found are not consistently positive. Please revert if you feel I overstepped.THX1136 (talk) 21:53, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
