No mention that Gossage played the 1990 season in Japan for the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks? FriedBunny 15:25, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Some people have been spreading a rumor that Goose Gossage is dead. He's not. Just wanted to keep this here to stop any spreading of a rumor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.117.123.222 (talk) 20:40, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Does any body think the name of the page should be moved to Goose Gossage. I just wanted to see if anybody agreed. --[[Adam Penale]] (talk) 22:46, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
I know it's been a year since this was (barely) discussed, but I think it should be changed, as Goose is what he is more commonly known as. --Muboshgu (talk) 03:56, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
In an interview, Gossage stated that his nickname "goose" is not a result of a play on his last name, but a name that was given to him early in his career by a roomate and fellow teammate of his. He said the player he was living with said he looked like goose when he was on the mound taking signals. Thats why he started calling him "goose" (Nightwing040 (talk) 13:39, 19 August 2010 (UTC)).
Who says Gossage lives in Colorado? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.121.47.119 (talk) 08:53, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Gossage stated in his Yankeeography that he lives and owns a business in Colorado. He made numerous references to Elk hunting in the offseason there and in his retirement (Nightwing040 (talk) 13:44, 19 August 2010 (UTC)).
I think it would add value to the article to add reason and the how and why of each transition between teams of his career. As I recall, he transitioned to the New York Yankees as a Free Agent. Wfoj3 (talk) 21:00, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
This does need to be added, I'm just not prepared to write it atm.[1] – Muboshgu (talk) 04:32, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
