I might be wrong but I really really really think this game is based on the toy that came out back around the time of the game, not based on a movie. Maybe the movie used the toy? Not sure. But this game was infamous for being horribly bad or something. And trust me, I think I'm 90% sure it was based on the toy that came out. I didn't see a wikipedia page for the toy, i'll keep looking... but maybe we need one? see toy here—Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.85.180.123 (talk • contribs) 19:24, 2006 October 14 (UTC)
The film Gotcha! was released in 1985. The video game and paintball guns are from 1987. The guns and the game used the exact same logo, so they were a joint-effort marketing wise, and therefore were both based on the film. —MJBurrage • TALK • 01:09, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
