Hello all, I have done substantial revising to the page and cleared up a lot of needlessly detailed information. That being said, the sections on the N52 and Rebirth runs of the character could use some expanding. I have moved all talk activity before my substantial revision to Talk:Hal Jordan/Archive 1, since most of it dated to 2014, and the more recent objection that was raised has been addressed. I'm open to discussions on how much detail we should provide in these articles. The N52 section was, in my opinion, much too long and convoluted for a reader who does not have prior knowledge of the character. I've also relocated the table of collected editions to its own page in order to aid the condensing of the article. Etzedek24 (talk) 23:35, 26 November 2017 (UTC)

The first sentence proclaims Hal as "a real superhero appearing in American comic books". Of course it's obvious he is in fact not "real" but i still think it should be changed to simply "a superhero" or "a fictional superhero" or even "a fictional character" (I compared to Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman). I'm not sure why anyone would write "real superhero" in the first place. Alisio Star (talk) 10:39, 29 April 2019 (UTC) ugh nevermind i noticed it was just someone this morning and changed it back Alisio Star (talk) 10:50, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Can Hal be really registered as a member of the Blue Lantern Corps? He only wore the blue ring for a couple issues and that was that. Leader Vladimir (talk) 11:49, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
For the billionth time, Hal's association with the Blue Lantern Corps is not a permanent fixture for the character. I mean, we could say that Superman is a member of New Krypton's military guild or that Batman practices Judaism, but that only means they are members of those groups for specific stories, not that they are members of those groups as an important part of their characters. Wikipedia articles are meant to inform about the general history of these characters, not specific parts of those histories. Leader Vladimir (talk) 16:31, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
At this point you're both in violation of WP:3RR regardless of which one of you is right. That said, in the spirit of WP:BRD, Blue Lantern Corps should not be added to the article unless/until there's a WP:CONSENSUS to do so. Per WP:OSE, it doesn't matter what other articles are doing, as they could be doing it wrong. Please stop edit-warring over this. DonIago (talk) 18:57, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
