Surely the Jacobite attempt of 1745-46 was a major crisis for him to deal with, yet it is not mentioned in the text. I think a war on home soil in the middle of his tenure as PM warrants a mention especially in conjunction with the War of Austrian Succession which is mentioned. Maybe someone well versed in the minutae of British politics at the time can add something, I dont feel qualified. Please see Talk:List of Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom#The Two Days & Four Days Prime Ministers for discussion about consistency on how to handle the events of February 1746 and June 1757 on the various lists on ministers and ministries. Timrollpickering 22:43, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

The Reference section at the end of this article says that "Some material has been adapted from the 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica." In fact, entire sections (such as Section 2 Achievements) are lifted completely word for word from Britannica without specific reference to that source in the section itself or placing it in quotes. When updating references, I found that the page about Henry Pelham on the web site NNDB shares a very large portion of text with this Wikipedia article, word for word. I do not know (yet) which is the oldest. Is Wikipedia violating NNDB's copyright or is it the other way around? Bever (talk) 22:54, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
This paragraph is drunk! What does it mean to say, and how can it be clarified? Jperrylsu (talk) 07:19, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
Can anyone find a reliable source to substantiate the claim that his nickname was "Henry IX"? I had a quick search and couldn't find anything, so removed Pelham's name from the Henry IX disambiguation page. Meticulo (talk) 05:09, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
