Rather than splitting, perhaps simply change the article title to Indian Motorcycle International. I fully understand the historical significance of the original name, but feel it is akin to naming the article about The Beatles, The Quarrymen.
Support. This article covers the entire history of the Indian Motorcycle marque, not just that of the Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Company (which ceased operations in 1953.) 162 etc. (talk) 16:15, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support The current name of the company makes the most sense. If the former name of the company makes sense to move to a fork, then make the case and reference it in the article. A redirect from Motocycle also would be appropriate. Buffs (talk) 04:21, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
