This article is fairly cautious in its attribution in any case, but it ought to be edited to reflect this correction to the historical record: The neurodiversity concept was developed collectively: An overdue correction on the origins of neurodiversity theory
It could also be good to add a bit more on recent signs of mainstream/establishment acceptance of the idea, like this special issue of the British Psychological Society's The Psychologist (magazine), or the General Teaching Council for Scotland's professional guides.
