There are similarities between the two as "Race Queen" is more of a Japancentric term which is rarely used outside Japan, other than the celebrity status they get, what other differences are there therefore I propose a move to here. Donnie Park (talk) 07:57, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree with the merge proposal. This article seems to refer only to models in motorcycle racing, while race queen seems to refer to models in motorsport in general (and car racing in particular) and also seems to include models in automobile shows. Because of that, if there were to be a merge, it should be this article merging into Race queen.--Cattustalk11:26, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, what a mess! articles pointing from games such as RidgeRacer to Grid Girl instead of Race Queen when they internally within their own article refer to Race Queen and not Grid Girl. Actually we don't care what they are called in USA, the article should be about the one thing with the terminology and regional information associated, not separate articles. That would be like having one for Tomato and one for Tomato. --293.xx.xxx.xx (talk) 14:24, 31 December 2011 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.32.141.11 (talk) [reply]
