Edit. Nimble America was only attempted by him and was quickly shot down by the already thriving community. He in no way funded internet trolls. He may have tried but the community was off put by the premise. The subreddit called /r/the_donald was already one of the most active and subscribed subreddits long before this charity was even started. Here is a breakdown of exactly what happened. https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/5460xn/nice_try_media_our_community_cannot_be_bought/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.150.169.96 (talk) 18:14, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
Palmer Luckey is worth over half a billion dollars. He does not live with roommates. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HashtagWOKE (talk • contribs) 21:43, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
The now section on "Political activities" is way undue weight as of right now in scale with his history. Much of the primary source commentary needs to be scaled down in favor of secondary sources (that is, journalists writing about other reports rather than citing The Daily Beast and journalist opinions directly). I think it would be useful to collect the most important sources on the talk page rather than letting them get lost in the page history. Summaries of the industry reactions and fallout from the incident are most appropriate for whatever will ultimately remain in the article. czar 06:07, 24 September 2016 (UTC)

For the section on Mr. Luckey's political views, he stated in a facebook posting: "I am a libertarian who has publicly supported Ron Paul and Gary Johnson in the past, and I plan on voting for Gary in this election as well." Primary source:[4] Independent sources:[5][6]. -- 1Wiki8........................... (talk) 09:13, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
This article says Luckey's net worth was $730 million in 2016. I've been looking for newer sources for this. I've found two conflicting sources (neither of which look very credible).
How credible are these sources? Does this justify updating the net worth on this article? SebastianTalk | Contrib. - 23:19, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
The structure of this article is bizarre and makes more sense as a corporate history than a Biography of a Living Person. The "Oculus VR" section of his career is almost entirely about things he did prior to Oculus VR, only the last sentence is about something that happened after their Kickstarter campaign. The entire "Facebook" section that covers his time as a Facebook executive has only two sections, one detailing a lawsuit that ended in early 2017 and another for his firing later in 2017. The result is a nearly five-year gap, with practically no information about anything that happened between mid-2012 and mid-2017 when he founded Anduril. 2600:1700:5970:8800:A508:7B21:529A:CC20 (talk) 00:44, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
Overall tone is of himself talking about what a great guy he is, including inane childish shit like his cool gaming pc. The tone is completely inappropriate and makes me think npov problem. 86.16.183.159 (talk) 09:02, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
Shouldn't this article mention the notable fact that Congressman Matt Gaetz is married to Ginger Luckey, Palmer Luckey's sister? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 04:10, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
