This entry cites no source material for its claims and maintains a consistent style and voice throughout which shouldn't necessarily happen on a Wikipedia where editing is a collective function. I can only conclude that someone either cut and pasted this from another website and read it in a book and copied it here. Ngrams shows nothing for "pansy performers" and notes a single result for "pansy craze". Checking further, the term is a neologism invented by George Chauncey for his 1994 "Gay New York" book,^[1], already present in the references in the article. All other uses (not many) refer to Chauncey. Being a neologism used by one author and not having picked up any steam, at a minimum, the article probably shouldn't have this title. Secondarily, it's a compilation of a number of mini-biographies, and it's not clear what the unifying subject of the article is. For starters, I've added an ((Unfocused)) tag to the rest of the issues, but it's way past time to list this for Afd. Mathglot (talk) 07:35, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
