Does anyone remember which issue it was that Nintendo Power talked about the cover issues? I think it was issue 100, but I can't remember clearly ~ zipp
It was issue #2. #100 was a Zelda: Link's Awakening cover, I do believe. Or was that one #50... can't remember. Eric42 14:45, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Simon Belmont is from Transylvania, which is currently in Romania but, at the time the game was set, was part of Hungary. With this information, where do we say Simon is from?(Oinkers42) (talk) 04:16, 4 August 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Clearly not Romania, as no country of that name existed at the time. The Danubian Principalities, which can be regarded as an ancestor of modern Romania, did exist; but Belmont was active in Transylvania, then part of Hungary, and not in the Danubian principalities, which were then under Ottoman rule. Hungary may be the best guess; but his name sounds British, and not at all Hungarian (or Romanian). Maproom (talk) 11:53, 4 August 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
