Wasn't there a storyline about a fifth street shark who sometimes helped out?
I don't know I remember there being a Whale. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.253.64.213 (talk) 21:55, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
i really liked that show. i wish it was back on. kitten03222Kitten03222 (talk) 19:33, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Does anyone have any idea as to why the episode summaries on TV.com completely contradict what actually happened in the show?
Also, it's been a long time, but I remember one of Piranoid's seaviates being a wimpy shrimp thing that came in later. Why isn't there information on him?--24.255.171.220 (talk) 14:08, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
This is a good point. My memories of Street Sharks do not jive with the TV.com summaries. I distinctly remember different episode names, Killamari being there much earlier and some sort of giant purple jellyfish. Not to mention the crossover with the Dino Vengers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.132.72.212 (talk) 22:03, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
so there wasn't really a fifth shark? Babykitten03222 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Babykitten03222 (talk • contribs) 17:45, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
All episodes on TV.com and most on IMDB are fake. I don't know who did it and how to fix it. The information in the current article is probably the only web source that got it right, since DIC website is down (it was on Flash, and so web archive can't retrieve it). Unfortunately, there's no fansites for Sharks, as they were quite unpopular series.
Is there something we can do to fix the situation? At least remove the link to broken secondary source, maybe? 89.208.114.177 (talk) 06:51, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Everyone please don't change the episode list to anything that IMDB or TV.com says. Both lists are inaccurate/fake as stated previously. I would know because I've seen the series. Obviously someone didn't get this message because the list was changed earlier this year. Hg3300 (talk) 21:33, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
http://www.geek.com/news/how-i-used-lies-about-a-cartoon-to-prove-history-is-meaningless-on-the-internet-1656188/ This is the guy behind the fake info on TV.com. Interesting read. Dzmien (talk) 10:55, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
Can anyone please say how they finally defeat Piranoid, Slash, and Slobster in the final episode? Put it under the "Paradigm and his Seaviates" section. Ghostkaiba297 (talk) 21:50, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Ghostkaiba297
Some of the basic figures have odd names, such as Moby Lick and Mecha-Shark. --24.34.206.195 (talk) 21:26, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
Apparently this guy has been lying about Street Sharks as part of "an ongoing social experiment" for years :-P There is a lot of bad information he's been feeding TV info sites, which has made it's way onto Wikipedia.
Quote from the AV Club "He invented characters, like “Dr. Paradigm” and “Roxie.” He claimed that the voice cast included Adam West and famed shark-jumper Henry Winkler. He created summaries for ridiculous episodes like “The Hot Chick” and “The Shiva Saga.” Minor watched in delight as his lies spread to IMDB entries and Wikipedia talk pages. “It was a fun creative exercise,” he says now, “trolling as antagonistic fan fiction.”"

For example, I'm certain Tony winning Broadway star Andrew Rannells did not voice any characters, especially since he was 15 when the show ended and it's not a part of his wiki page.
I feel like the story deserves a mention on the page, if only so people know that not all sources on Street Sharks may be accurate. This article would probably be a decent first citation; it's not from a particularly scholarly website, but it's a primary source. 172.78.78.186 (talk) 02:16, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
I don't care enough to fix this myself, but for some reason someone put a bunch of references to The Legend of Korra on this page. Like half of the characters listed aren't really on this show. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.178.30.87 (talk) 19:31, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for the notice. Several recent additions from anonymous users were about characters from several unrelated series.Dimadick (talk) 07:46, 3 August 2016 (UTC)
Piranoid was the doctor's name, and there was no Moby Lick. That was created by a troll in an experiment to see how far fake news carries. See https://www.geek.com/tech/how-i-used-lies-about-a-cartoon-to-prove-history-is-meaningless-on-the-internet-165618 (Also no Roxie/female shark, nor Meathook) --2601:CC:4200:1D00:31AE:22A2:954C:2B5 (talk) 13:24, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
I'm not sure when they were corrected but they appear to have the correct information aside from a minor inconsistency on IMDB "A group of teens turned into mutant sharks on rollerblades" (We all know there's only one shark on rollerblades) Hg3300 (talk) 21:22, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
I am not familiar with the US broadcast information, but is the last episode "Shark-apolypse Now!" correct on May 18, 1997 as stated in this item, instead of the 1996 broadcast? Ss3162000 (talk) 16:04, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
