The contents of Linkedin was also written by executives of TCAT; if that's also a violation, then I could replace the introduction with something from scratch. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leonyen (talkcontribs) March 8, 2012

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because all contents were extracted from the official website of the TCAT. Found here http://tcatoronto.com/about/; please verify and advise if the introductory paragraphs (the ones that are similar to those in LinkedIn) should be replaced by something from scratch. If this is the case, then I will replace those paragraphs immediately.

I've edited the lead of this article slightly to set the organisation's main objectives as an attributed direct quote from the organisation's own website, which I believe will satisfy the concerns about the use of copyright material. (It seemed to be that sentence which caught the attention of the bot which tagged the article). However, a better solution might be for the copyright owner to grant permission for the use of the copyright text. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.--CharlieDelta (talk) 18:29, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
