gotcha
so if 1 site uses a technology but the technology site does not mention that site 1 uses it then you have to put that tag on it? Seems crazy.
Does that not mean that every time you have a link to another wiki page or external site if that wiki page or external site does not mention the calling site you have use that tag?

Hi,
I have not edited Wikipedia before and was not aware of the need for sources (I hadn't read the instructions).
I posted some text on the Kitty Brucknell page: "In 2016, she moved from London to Los Angeles."
This was removed by C.Fred because I provided no source: (cur | prev) 00:57, 19 March 2016 C.Fred (talk | contribs) . . (18,082 bytes) (-48) . . Hey, C.Fred. Could I get your take on this new article on THIS_IS? It strikes me as a promotional page, but another user disagreed and removed my speedy deletion tag. Hey there! I'd like to apologize for initially using a pic from another site for Mr. Anders' info box. I was on a mobile device at a time, and hurriedly uploaded it and checked off the boxes without thinking. I've never really edited on wiki before, usually just fan wikias. I made an account just to upload an image, because he asked for his Twitter followers to do it as a favor. I was unaware of the wiki policies at the time, and have since replaced it with an image Anders offered and requested be used via Twitter.--Holyhamills (talk) 02:36, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
It's the second photo down, the tweet with the 'Go Ducks' caption. He also retweeted a screencap of the page with the current image. Wiki editing clearly isn't my strong suit, I wasn't sure how to verify the license myself... whether or not sure if a simple link is enough. I uploaded it as my own, but I won't argue the fact it doesn't belong to me. I recognize how it was improper, and again, I apologize. I didn't intend to make your editing duties more difficult, I realize you take the time out of your own day to maintain pages. I only really made this account to change the image for Mr. Anders, and I don't really have plans to edit much of anything in the future. Suffice to say I'm sorry for any stress I've caused, but it shan't happen again in the future.
That said I'm not sure if it has a owner. Anders posted the picture, but I'm not sure who was the one who took the shot itself. You can find the tweet in which he posted it here, and the screencap of the page that he retweeted is the most recent thing on his feed.
Both apologies and thanks, --Holyhamills (talk) 05:24, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
Dear Admin,
Its really sad to see people keep trying to defame public figure articles again and again. Some users are keep trying to defame Sujit Meher article and requesting for deletion as a self promoted article. Please kindly go though the link, he has been listed among those top 10 alumni of NIFT itself, and even it published in NIFT official website too. How can it be a self promoted article, where its alma mater itself is saying he is in the list of those few respectable alumni of NIFT. So no need of any deletion request or debate on this particular article. [1] Please i request you kindly protect such article, where people keep trying to defame such public figure articles. Even you can see all national media links and sources are prominently given. Please i request you to take care of the issue and protect this article. Thanks you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Novelbuzz (talk • contribs) 03:54, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

Hi Fred,
Following up on your messages, Mr. Girardi's page was not fully accurate so I simply put some direct quotes from his bio on the page, as he requested me to do. There is no copyright issue since he and I wrote the bio. I hope this helps! Please let me know how I can update his page, as this is not a conflict of interest since it is in his interest to have accurate information online. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lindsayburton (talk • contribs) 20:51, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
Hi Fred, the firm would be happy to donate the copyright to Tom's bio. Please let me know how to proceed. Additionally, 2 of the links on Tom's bio are broken: the one linking to his bio which is actually (http://www.girardikeese.com/Attorneys/Thomas-V-Girardi.shtml) and the link regarding his donation to Loyola which is actually found at (http://www.latlc.org/Honorary-Board/Tom-Girardi.shtml). If I am not allowed to make these edits, is this something you could do? Specifically we're most interested that his bio link be fixed because presently the link it has is not even a real link. Thanks for your assistance C.Fred with the Don College page. I can see your point that the link was redundant. On the other hand I noticed that the external links were themselves inaccurate. Don College is no longer associated with the Polytechnic (which is now called TasTAFE in any case) and the link to the school web site has changed. So I have deleted the Polytechnic link and put in the correct link to the college web site. I am on the staff at Don College and i am trying to get this page up to date. --Squeaky1957 (talk) 01:44, 2 April 2016 (UTC)

The reversion you did was right on the grounds it was unreferenced but there is this[2] and here[3] and other articles around that question Player's integrity. In fact Gary Player is the unnamed player in the book Teed Off written by Dave Hill where Hill wrote that one of the Tour's biggest stars was also a cheat who moved the ball more yards illegally than Jim Brown rushed for the Cleveland Browns.
The Player-Watson feud could be written into the article but it would have to be carefully written and referenced. As for the 1974 British Open, the allegations came along after much time passed and while they might be credible, for BLP reasons it may be hard to put them in the article....William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 01:06, 14 April 2016 (UTC)

Most of the links in the Andrew Peach article are dead and some refs are not cited. How can these be flagged for deletion? There is a comment on his talk page which suggests the article is purely for self promotion. There seems to be "too much" information for suck a minor person. BBC Radio 2 made lots of cut backs a few years ago and I have not heard Peach reading the news om the station for a while. He was in the same pool of freelancers as Ricky Salmon, Fran Godfrey and Fenella Fudge. He has also not presented on BBC 5 Live since his stint covering Stephen Nolan. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Urban News Service, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Democratic Party. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I've noticed that you reverted my edits in the Flag of Syria and Coat of Arms. I'll start with the coat of arms first. I know that we need to change the picture not remove it, but I can't upload pictures. Every time I try to upload it doesn't let me. And I do have the picture.
Second, the Flag of Syria article. What is in their is truly false and biased. The two stars flag DOES NOT represent the loyalist of the regime or Assad. And we don't want to use the opposition flag as a new flag to Syria. It's used as a symbol for the revolution, just like as a symbol to a party. I work in the Syrian Interim Government, what am I giving to you is official. If you ask the Syrians today, the majority of them want the two-stars flag and sees it as a representation for the people of Syria, even the FSA and those who support it. So please, let us be accurate. After all it's our country and our revolution, gentlemen!JaberEl-Hour (talk) 23:43, 21 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi, C.Fred.
I beg to differ but accusing somebody of a crime, twice, is not germane to an AfD discussion and is counter to the AfD Edit Notice:
"... commenting on other users rather than the article is also considered disruptive"
Accusing an editor of a crime, twice, is commenting on the other user.
For you to revert my edits, is disruptive too, as you know I do not agree with your revert. Cheers! ((u|Checkingfax)) {Talk}

Sir, in regards to your deletion of content,[5] have you had a chance to review the Historicity of Muhammad, which notes that there is little to no evidence that Muhammad ever existed, and almost no evidence he existed in the story promoted by adherents of Islam? Of course, this is not surprising considering all religions are composed of myths and fanciful stories, but it is an important point to make. As for the deaths due to his followers, is this in question? 166.171.123.74 (talk) 04:22, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

It's clear from this edit that he's using both the User:Wwwma account and multiple 2606:6000:610A:9000 IP accounts simultaneously: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Generation_X&diff=714590502&oldid=714590273. After a string of disruptive edits from his various 2606:6000:610A:9000 IP accounts, the Gen Z page was restricted to only auto-confirmed users, but he immediately gets around the page restriction that he himself prompted by switching to his other account User:Wwwma. Things typically start out as relatively minor content disputes, but in my experience, it's really difficult to resolve these content disputes. Things like the using of multiple accounts simultaneously, and a history of edit summaries that do not match the edit, talk page comments that don't match what happened, and bullying comments make things really hard. He seems to be pushing editors away from all of the generational cohort articles, and I'm getting to the point where I'm not sure how much longer I can edit there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. --DynaGirl (talk) 00:11, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
Hi! I'm curious why my submission for the page Cloud of Ash got deleted. Not rejected, deleted entirely. I saw some user got banned or something, but I don't know enough about Wikipedia to understand the whole process. This edit of yours was undoing just one of several occurances of 45.59.203.238 assigning his comments to 184.187.179.175. This is even a messier mess than I had thought at first. DMacks (talk) 03:03, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi. I noticed some edits had been made to a page pertaining to a group of mine. These edits were made by someone looking to post sensitive and fraudulent information as an attack. Fortunately, you blocked the page because it seemed to represent the group rather than any individual. That's fine, rules are rules. However, as I am looking into finding out who or what entity created this username to make it seem like the group was adding info to the group's page, I have found the page to be deleted. Is there any way to find out the IP address or any identifying information of this user? I would really like to get to the bottom of this and find out who has been "attacking" my group's page. Any help or direction would be appreciated.Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.53.99.106 (talk) 14:04, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi C.Fred, I was fixing links in Cassandra Smolcic, and it must have been deleted while I was editing because all the other edits are no longer listed on history page except two of mine, so I think I re-created without noticing what I did. Can you take a look and see if you can get rid of this. By my edit history, it should be obvious that I don't go around and do things like this. It was 100% an accident on my part. Sorry. You have removed my edits from the safe schools wiki becuase of neutral wording and sources. What do you mean? The source is the ABC web site and is perfectly referenced. An the neutral wording? Please explain the problem there. I'd like to reach a compromise. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by FindOutTheTruth (talk • contribs) 02:18, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
Historic vedic religion is different from Brahminism. Historic vedic religion is the fore runner of modern Hinduism. But Brahminism is a practise within the Hindu religion. So both are different topic and the redirect needs to be removed. A seperate article on Brahminism should be created. We cant restrict the entire Hindu religion only to Brahmin caste. Hinduism existed before the Aryan invasion itself. But after Aryan Invasion the Character of Hinduism changed a lot due to the inter mixing of Aryans and Dravidians. So Brahminism or Aryanism is a different concept from Vedic religion/Hinduism. Brahminism is just a practise inside Hinduism. So redirect needs to be removed Brahminism is a set of rituals or practises within Hinduism. Hinduism is not only belongs to Brahmins. So seperate article needs to be created for Brahminism. Brahminism means influence of Brahmins in Hindu religion (Brahminsm and Historical vedic religion, both are entirely different). So please allow me to create new page for Brahminsm. If you need any more clarifications or still you want to include redirect please share your ideas in Brahminsm talk page.--DanielZinker (talk) 16:06, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
Ok.Thanks for your help. I will create the article with all the references and citations. Then you can review the article. We can discuss with other people also. But please give me some time to finish the article :-) May be later we can discuss about the merge.--DanielZinker (talk) 16:38, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
Hi, thank you for your reply: "Neither draft has enough references to show notability." Since my first draft about a year ago, I have tried to find a reference which would "show notability". The product was invented by cardiologist Prof. Dr. Christian Hagl, who is the head of heart surgery and polyclinic of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Medical Centre and the Inotech Group which manufacturers this product. My draft was rejected, because apparently sounded as an advertisement and references I quoted (Prof. Dr. Christian Hagl and the Inotech Group)had a commercial interest in the product. After this rejection I have searched for other sources and articles about "Cardio First Angel". All the existing sources, references and articles I found, are references to the the same references: (Prof. Dr. Christian Hagl and the Inotech Group) - therefore by Wikipedia not acceptable. When I finally found sources, which were without any commercial interest - Independent Journalist from http://news.softpedia.com/ and Government Clinical Trials https://clinicaltrials.gov/ they "not enough references to show notability."
What is the solution? Which references would show "notability" without mention the inventor or manufacturer? How it is possible to find out if an Independent Journalist has enough credibility to be "notable"? If the Government Clinical Trial (independent)which publishes independent resulte and function of the "Cardio First Angel" is not not acceptable, what is?

I just tried to add more destinations to Exit 5 on Interstate 95 in South Carolina, but I see that an anonymous IP also added them and you reverted that, so I did the same. However, most photographs and a Google Map searches show that Estill, South Carolina is an additional destination for northbound I-95, and Savannah, Georgia is the additional southbound destination. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 19:31, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

Whereas Heather Collins Grattan Floyd has been on an international TV show ("It's Time for Herman & Sharron" on CTN) talking about the book. Hi,
Thanks for welcoming me! I agree that there is a potential for a conflict of interest as I am the Head of History within the hall, however this is an unpaid position and I believe the information added does not benefit the society moreso than it should. The information is all impartial and factual. I have not said the events are good or bad, I have merely stated their existence and popularity, both of which are facts which would be of interest to the people who look up the hall.
This page has been catered to the kinds of people who would look this page up, which includes prospective residents, current residents and Alumni, and I am hoping to make some more changes to the page to include information on our Alumni Association, but I will bare in mind that I can always ask for help and put drafts up for review before permanently posting the changes.
I am hoping to also include information on the JCR(Junior Common Room) which is something I have created a discussion with another editor about. Basically, I am hoping to mention the roles that exist in the JCR, and would like it if I could mention the name of the three senior members. This is a university hall full of adults who have elected fellow members of the hall to represent them at a university level. These elections mean that these students have already had their anonymity reduced and are mentioned both online and inside an annual newsletter to over a 1000 people. As a consequence, it is not a breach of their privacy to mention this online. MichaelPetch (talk) 11:30, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
Again I also mentioned the privacy as that was a point mentioned on the guideline page for school pages, which this page is registered under. I fail to see how this information is not encyclopedic. Given that it is synonymous with a comprehensive level of information, and find it especially ironic that another hall at the university of Manchester can have their positions listed and ours not. MichaelPetch (talk) 16:12, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
Could I have your opinion here? There are COI / impersonation issues and licensing issues with a file on this article. — Confession0791 talk 20:48, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
The publisher removed my name. My name will not be associated with a publication that has serious issues with factual content. Hi C.Fred, thank you for your explanation of the references for Wikipedia "...that have been published in academic journals with a review process, or in major newspapers and magazines." Previously I have enclosed references from 2 articles from writers who write to the Sunday Times newspaper and to the Spiegel Online.(the German one included an English translation as well). Both, the Sunday Times and the Spiegel are major publications, but these references were rejected as well. I am including these references for your perusal here below. Seems to me line no win situation

You realize, presumably, that I'm not "vandalizing" this poor fellow's page, or that of his maybe-or-maybe-not significant other. For the record: I am a random middle-aged boring professional person who only cares about: (a) BLP articles saying what the cited sources say and (b) nuking copyvios. I've been on WP for about a year and a half but this is the first time I've stumbled into this level of obsessive fandom (which, I assure you, was purely by virtue of having reverted something on NPP about Levieva, so that she ended up on my watchlist, and heaven help me if I ever fall into this kind of pit again) and the incessant synthesis of cruddy gossip magazines coupled with stubborn copyvio additions and a mostly-hilarious-but-occasionally-menacing "Deep Throat" attitude. I'm just objectively Doing My Thing here. I am pretty confident you grok this, but I wanted to communicate "personally" (or in a reasonable facsimile of such) with you to let you know I have absolutely no dog in this fight; I'm literally just trying to be the (at least figurative) grownup. (Okay, truth: not a dog, but a CAT. I do have a deranged little rescue cat named Lily after a character on "Gossip Girl," a gloriously silly TV show I had forgotten Stan was a bit player on. OKAY, FANGIRLS, BRING IT ON ME NOW. I HAVE A CAT NAMED AFTER SERENA'S MOM. Yeah, that's my veiled covert interest! Augh, please.). Thank you for everything you do here, C. Fred! Best regards - Julietdeltalima (talk) 00:54, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
C.Fred I have no clue who keeps vandalizing that page. But this should clear things up
Saw the post about whoever edited the Sebastian Stan page. Decided to research to get accurate up to date information on the status. This article published by The Daily Beast on May 14, 2016' provides information which clearly states Stan & Levieva are no longer together' As outlined below in this exert from the article "In real life, the man who plays Bucky/Winter Soldier, Sebastian Stan, is decidedly hetero, having previously dated co-stars Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl), Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time), and Margarita Levieva (Spread). Here is the link to the full article [1] Another thing is IMDB and other sources are slow at updating their sites so they also have outdated information Hope this clears up the confusion Truth Supervisor (talk) 23:39, 24 May 2016 (UTC)

C.Fred - I had posted something on that Talk page on May 20th but no one replied to it so I deleted it and put here on your page so you could edit it however it appears you are not going to edit the page with the updated info I provided you with anyway. I didn't edit the page myself because I didn't want to be attacked but just the same here I am being jumped on by some person for just submitting info As far as vandalism goes the page kept changing practically everyday after semi protection had expired good grief. Perhaps I used the wrong word to describe it but that's no reason for her to go off on someone for making an honest mistake
I'm new here but I see folks here are way too serious about trivial things. I only tried to help update Wikipedia correctly I'm not familiar with how to do things on here so I did my best and for people to jump down my throat this way is not o.k. I have done nothing wrong here. People make mistakes may be if it were easier to navigate this site as far as submitting things problems like this wouldn't happen A friend of mine warned me about how Wikipedia does things I see now I should have listened. Oh and for the record I'm not a Teen fan girl. I have no clue who this person is but I've never said anything to her and she doesn't know me so for her to "assume" I am a teenager because I submit an edit for Actor's page is just down right rude. I'm not on social media so this whole situation is ridiculous and uncalled for.
I should not be attacked because I submitted a legitimate article which warrants changes be made to an article. I see now that anything goes here which is why all of my former College professors explicitly said they would not accept Wikipedia article as references because they do not have accurate facts. I see why now. I've been treated unfairly here I hope you understand my position. I would like to hear from you on this. Truth Supervisor (talk) 13:42, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
Things are not done right. The only response you get is in defense of someone who is wrong for their rude behaviour. Certain users are favoured and allowed to attack newcomers. Information not updated accurately. Complete waste of time and total rubbish. I will make sure to tell everyone what happened here and warn them to stay far away from Wikipedia Truth Supervisor (talk) 16:24, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
Sorry thank you for the info I will test things on sandbox I'm still getting used to Wikipedia just to let you know. Cbassinator711 (talk) 01:25, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
I honestly don't think the article is salvageable, all the author is doing is copy-pasting more content from another site. Additionally, I'm wondering if we should be treating them as a sock of User:Prozorro who created a very similar copyvio article before being blocked for username policy violations. Hi. I tried to create a page about myself, an accomplished musician, yet it keeps getting deleted. why. Other musicians like me, can have their own pages, but some how I can't. It is very unfair on your part. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SeanCarley12 (talk • contribs) 01:46, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
The Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation has appointed a committee to lead the search for the foundation’s next Executive Director. One of our first tasks is to write the job description of the executive director position, and we are asking for input from the Wikimedia community. Please take a few minutes and complete this survey to help us better understand community and staff expectations for the Wikimedia Foundation Executive Director.

Hey! Thank you for welcoming me, I appreciate it. I'm starting to get hang of things, so here's my first question :)
There's an abusive user that keeps changing the registrar details to some false website. Article link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.host I and a few other people have reverted his changes, but it has occurred twice already, so it'd be awesome if you could take a look. Within the editing history of that article are reversals by another administrator and advanced editor.

Sir,
Let me address the messages you sent me, I will be responding to them under them :
Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Benjamin Britten, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 03:26, 4 June 2016 (UTC) - The concept of 'original research' as you describe it is quite surprising : original research is in fact based on facts! As a medical researcher myself, I think I know what medical research is about. Also, the source of the information is the Heart & Stroke (Canada). I think that in terms of reliable source, this organization knows what it is talking about...
Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Benjamin Britten. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You cannot add a hypothesis that you have come up with that is based on current literature. Now, if a researcher has proposed the theory and published it in a peer-reviewed journal, you can cite the journal and note that it's that scholar's theory. But until that's published, you can't just add your own theories or unpublished theories to the encyclopedia article. —C.Fred (talk) 03:44, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- As I mentioned about, the H&S Foundation (Canada) is a reliable source. I am sorry to say, but do you have the qualifications as a CPA to question their authority on cardiovascular disease ?
Stop icon
Your recent editing history at Benjamin Britten shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. - I am not engaged in an edit war. As I am new to wikipedia, I honestly thought that the text was automatically deleted because I had some trouble inserting the quote.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —C.Fred (talk) 03:49, 4 June 2016 (UTC) - As I mention above, I tried three times to insert the text, being not so familiar with the process made me retry. I tried to insert in in another section
Please stop continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Benjamin Britten, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. There are two tags in the article, both designed to get other editors to assist. The ((fv)) tag alerts editors that the source you cited does not support the claim being made. The ((or)) tag alerts editors that the claim may be original research. —C.Fred (talk) 04:51, 4 June 2016 (UTC) - If I made a mistake by editing material in an unproper way, I would have appreciated a more polite warning. It was obvious to you that I did my best, but your reply was quite abrupt, to say the least. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MarieBBNF (talk • contribs) 03:30, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
@C.Fred Standardized templates? My goodness... Thank you for adding Coverage in Der Spiegel link. (I have a translation of it in English if it is any help). I have found additional references in US National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health and some others (see below) which seem to me credible, but I am not an expert on a subject how to find their credibility. Hello. My page, Valley Center Days, has been marked for speedy deletion, but it is completely cited and referenced as a official page. You are defending the page "Valley Center Western Days" but that is a falsified source and I have written the reasons WHY in my article, which was written to promote a non-profit event and explain why the name was changed. The other page only cites self written sources, but I have proven that mine is correct and his is meant for self-promotion.Please correct this error, as the page "Valley Center Western Days" is spreading false information. Hi. The user seems to be on sandbox mode, he has also half-recreated Meryem Ayşe Sultan. The "new" article is a copy-paste of Turhan Hatice Sultan. --Phso2 (talk) 20:37, 9 June 2016 (UTC) PS It is definitely a hoax; will you delete it or should I restart an AfD?
You mentioned about neutral point of view, tell me what is neutral about distorting the truth or only show half of it? Most of the sources used in the original Wiki are known to be biased, D.G. Marr for example, through his books, is clearly taking side. I am not sure he if whether his point of view is affected by who he is/was or what biased sources that he used for his book, but clearly his view is not neutral. -Lenntran 6/9/2016 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lennytran (talk • contribs) 02:38, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
@C.Fred: There are books, like I've said what is neutral about blemishing a dead person using distorted material? you are saying I have an agenda? what might it be? for stating the truth or stating the missing parts of the truth? -Lennytran — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lennytran (talk • contribs) 02:52, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for listening, the magazine might be a reliable source but unfortunately it's publishing an article from a user that claims this record isn't happening and has video evidence that has now been removed, it's damaging, libellous and unnecessary. UncleSamUSofA (talk) 22:32, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

I'm extremely frustrated. ALL I'm trying to do is add the voice credit for my client, JG Hertzler. He voiced one of the primary characters in the game. I've followed all the guidelines....added citations. I saw the edit "disappeared" and thought I'd forgotten to save my edit, so I added it again. I didn't realize the deletion was some sort of malicious action by another user. I'm not a "computer person", I'm not a blogger, nor am I savvy in this editing processes. I'm an attorney/agent/publicist. I'm also the close personal friend of Mr. Hertzler, and adding the credits as a personal favor. There is no CoI. How can this be resolved? It's ridiculous. Perhaps the same user maliciously deleting my edits on Dead Space is also the same person trolling my edits to The Golden Compass video game? I'm only trying to add my client's credits, with the proper citation. I wasn't expecting the malicious trolling.

I am not getting paid for adding the credits/citations. I should have put quotation marks around "close personal friend". So, I have NO idea how to request the following:
1) JG Hertzler provided the voice for Captain Benjamin Mathius in the game "Dead Space" he is also the visual representation of the game avatar. He was "green screened" with sensors for the character. Capt. Mathius is, quite literally, JG Hertzler.
2) JG Hertzler provided the voices for a bear, a scholar, and the dockworker foreman in the game "The Golden Compass"
here is the citation link I used as "verification": http://voicechasers.com/database/showactor.php?actorid=9878
Will you please help me with this? Thank you. --JGHSMC (talk) 15:00, 19 June 2016 (UTC)

thanks for your note about COI - as you can tell not very experienced with the Wiki process.
We were just shocked to see Kai's page deleted when she is artist with significant profile who has not just featured on a number of hit songs, but she CO-WROTE them too. She's performed in front of thousands of people at festivals and shows throughout the world and her current hit with Flume "Never Be Like You" which has it's own wiki page - is equally written by her and Flume. Because of the number of high profile songs she's written and been involved in ("Mind" with Jack U for instance - the video she is in for the song she co-wrote and sings has 62 million views...) there would be significant numbers of people wanting to know who this person is with 3 songs with over 20 million views on youtube, all over US radio in Blillboard magazine, has worked with some of the biggest artists/producers in the world and is currently working with some of the biggest producers in the world making her debut solo album for Warner Brothers USA.
Any guidance you can give us as to the correct way for this to be rectified would be most welcomed. We want to be good citizens of the wiki community of course, but equally have a duty to do our best for our client who we feel has been unfairly judged here - looking at the 'discussion' people dismissed her as just having 'featured on other people's singles'. If she was just a performing vessel for songs I would totally understand, but she's written and sung songs that have huge profile in every area of media, so it's a puzzling situation for us. Especially when at this moment in time her profile is dramatically rising. She's never been more wiki-worthy.
As I say though, any guidance as to what the right way to do this is much welcomed!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Magusmusic (talk • contribs) 18:26, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
Thank you @C.Fred. Really appreciate you taking the time to help us understand. Hi Fred, The 'Controversy of Silliman University Chapter Revival' paragraph must be retained because of the proven controversy of Tiukinhoy's unfounded claim of membership in the organization. In addition, being a senior member and an organizer, his testimony to me had proven his revelation about the true story of how he made his declaration as a self-proclaimed member in 1981. Thanks Aajim (talk) 22:43, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
Sorry, but you're not understanding the basis of it, and it's not my terminology, it's the IRS'. I know you've got the background for it, too, so I really don't understand the revert.
A 501(c)6 is a non-profit organization that could consist of corporations, but it is not itself a corporation. Corporations are for-profit entities. Corporations can be members of 501(c)6 entities, but it is not a corporation because it does not file a corporate tax return. See here, and notice that at no time does the IRS refer to a 501(c)6 "corporation". If you can show me an example of a 501(c)6 corporation, because I searched for that on google and got this, where every hit refers to it as a 501c6 organization. Here's another link that also uses the same terminology, because the terminology is important. MSJapan (talk) 22:23, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for catching the problem with the birth date. The only source that would place her at the age that date would produce does not give an exact birth date and, in fact, when I looked at it, I saw it is several years old. I am not under a 1RR restriction. Regardless, my actions were based solely on BLP guidelines and stated as much in every edit summary I completed while the edit warring over unsourced or unreliably sourced content was occurring. I commented on the article talk page, asked for page protection in the way of Pending Changes status almost immediately, and then asked for FPP when it was obvious PC was not going to help. Should I read your query on Helper's talk page to mean that you are trying to find a reason to block me for edit warring or was it about something else? -- WV ● ✉ ✓ 01:08, 5 July 2016 (UTC)

I think there was an improper copy-and-paste move made by a new editor which might require a history merge or something. The editor has only been active since yesterday, so I'm assuming they just didn't know any better. Anyway, I'm posting here since (1) your an admin and (2) you've edited Chase Chrisley. FWIW, I don't think that the subject meets GNG, but that's a separate matter for another discussion. Thanks in advance. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:53, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
Hi, leaving you this message as you are the last admin to have dealings with the above user. Having had reason to visit the user's user page User:Niezwmxa Boro, it is clear that (probably innocently) they have a ton of userboxes and categories suggesting wiki-rights that they clearly don't have.
