Hello,
I noticed your recent edits to ASC, and I was wondering if you had any sources for the recent history? I've heard most of that stuff as well, especially the recent sales and whatnot, but it would be nice to see some sources. Thanks!
-Searles2sels (PJ) 15:46, 5 February 2007 (UTC) Most of the info was from http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/American-Skiing-Company-Company-History.html
Although I also knew of most of the stuff from previous newspaper articles. By the way my older brother is a senior at Colorado College.
Hi. I noticed your recent edits to quite a few of the mountains on my watchlist. The project has a policy which says that Wikipedia is not a directory or repository for links. While the website skimap.org seems to have some interesting information, it may not be information that would be immediately helpful to the vast majority of readers of the ski mountain articles to which you're adding links. user:j (aka justen) 18:09, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I didn't really think about the copyright issue for that website. I wonder is some of the old maps, from say the '50's fall under the same rules. Anyways, as I was looking through all those articles, I realized there are a lot of links that really don't seem to fit. How are ski lift pictures from skilift.org relevant? In some of the Colorado ski area articles there are a ton of links to reservations websites. Aren't those considered Spam? It seems like people try and sneak links in by only putting them on a few articles and people don't notice Crystalmountainskier (talk) 01:22, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading File:Peak 2 Peak Gondola Tower.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Polly (Parrot) 19:55, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I just wrote an article on Peak 2 Peak Gondola on the German WP and I would very much like to show your beautiful picture there but I have problems: deWP does not allow me to make a link to enWP; both helpers to transfer it to Commons say that the file does not exist in enWP; and I am not competent enough to transfer it to Commons myself. So it would be great if you would transfer it to Commons which might be the easiest way. Thanks from Germany --AHert (talk) 19:33, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Look at the page again pls. You may need to Wikipedia:Bypass your cache..that said would be a good idea to read Wikipedia:NOT#Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion as i have tag the article for this problem. If others see the page it may get deleted in its current form if not fixed. Moxy (talk) 07:32, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:Doppelmayr CTEC.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 05:00, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The START Bus, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Diesel (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Leitner-Poma logo on lift 2009.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((proposed deletion/dated files))
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing ((proposed deletion/dated files))
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Willy1018 (talk) 09:57, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
