Hi,
I would very much like to use this image for a 4-5 metre wide backdrop to an exhibition stand at the Abu Dhabi book fair in April. Would it be possible to obtain a much higher resolution image than that available on Wikipedia?
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Dear David Iliff.
I am a project manager at the Getty Conservation Institute (see getty.edu/conservation/). We are a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles.
My team is currently working with the City of Lincoln in England to implement a software platform, called Arches, that we have built and are making freely available to heritage organizations worldwide (see archesproject.org).
In launching the new system for Lincoln next month, we are making a short video highlighting the reasons for the new system. The video will be disseminated on the archesproject.org website.
We would very much like to use some of your beautiful images from the interior of the Lincoln Cathedral in the video.
Since I am not entirely familiar with the ins and outs of the license that you indicate on wikimedia, I am asking if you would be willing to give us permission to use the following 3 images:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Lincoln_Cathedral_Rood_Screen,_Lincolnshire,_UK_-_Diliff.jpg https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Lincoln_Cathedral_Presbytery,_Lincolnshire,_UK_-_Diliff.jpg https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Lincoln_Cathedral_Nave_1,_Lincolnshire,_UK_-_Diliff.jpg
We're going to need to finalize the video within the next several days, and I would very much appreciate it if you were able to give us permission to use the images and any restrictions that you may have.
Thank you very much! Alison adalgity [at] getty.edu

Good Evening
I really want to thank you for your picture St_Peter's_Square,_Vatican_City_-_April_2007.
I was in Rome and went up to the gallery. I am 72, it was in the 90s (F) and my bad knee was hurting. I made an attempt to climb to the cupola but gave up after several steps. I resigned myself to not being able to get a picture from there. I recently discovered your pictured. I have downloaded it and included it (noting that it was from you in the exif data) in my album of the trip.
Thank you again for taking it, and more for releasing it under CC BY-SA 3.0.

Hi Ecragg! Thank you for getting in touch to let me know. Very glad that I was able to help to reproduce the view for you! I hope you were able to zoom in, because the photo is quite detailed (it's a montage from many photos stitched together). Regards, David. Ðiliff «» (Talk) 06:18, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
Hello! I've been a fan of this picture since I first saw it over a decade ago. Now I finally got my hands on a humble DLSR and next Friday I'm visiting the city and I'd like to go and try to recreate it. Can you please tell me, if you remember, from where did you shoot it? I see a potential church, but I'm not sure. Thanks! --Fernando 15:16, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

An article you recently created, Jim Crute, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi David,
I hope you're well
I'm just enquiring about your association with Fossick Pictures, and if you're a member or partnered with the company?
Best wishes,

I was going to ask the same question. We received a letter about a picture of David's we had used and they were soliciting money. But their addresses seem to be fraudulent.
