Not sure why you are having a hard time getting a hold of me. Clicking "Talk" after in my signature takes you to me Talk Page and you simply create a New Section.
You have some real challenges with your article. The first is WP:COI, as you have clearly stated that there is a relationship between you and the subject. Read the article at the link and resolve.
Given the formatting and style, it would appear that you haven't looked at any of the other articles on authors on Wikipedia. There are no references provided, that is a key item for any biography and critical for any biography of a living person. The links I provided can help a lot.
Side note: The Subject is in Michigan, so perhaps you are as well. I am near 15 and Lahser. Perhaps coffee at some location and we could work on it, partially eliminating the COI issue. The Ukulele Dude - Aggie80 (talk) 23:07, 19 May 2014 (UTC)

Where did my article on Bill Haney go?
Should I start over with a new user name?
Should I rename the user:BillHaney?
GreenLips (talk) 12:51, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
Where did my article on Bill Haney go to? I successfully scanned and uploaded an reference and I got a message that I do not understand— User:GreenLips is not a user that Wiki recognizes....or something like that.

This is the exact message I got. I went to edit my article this morning and it was gone with this message below. So, I put it all back in and even uploaded a reference. This is twice the article disappeared with this message:
Wikipedia does not have a user page with this exact title. In general, this page should be created and edited by User:GreenLips. To start a page called User:GreenLips, type in the box below. When you are done, preview the page to check for errors and then save it.

Please note that it is not permitted for accounts to be shared by more than one person. You and your wife must operate separate accounts. My apologies if you are already doing this, but your post to the help desk and the account name lead me to believe that this is a shared account. Please explain here the true situation to avoid the account being blocked. SpinningSpark 18:35, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia can be a weird place, and, sometimes, everything goes wrong for a new editor. That is wrong, the more so when you are trying to get things right.
Wikipedia:Mentorship may be your saving grace since you are obvious;y running into brick walls with the article you are striving to create. Having someone form that programme guide you through WP:AFC may solve the issues for you. Fiddle Faddle 20:21, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
Timtrent aka Fiddle Faddle subject; Bill Haney Okay, thanks for the hint not to use terms like "very worthy man" or "truly deserves it" Frankly, I can't imagine someone jumping thru all these tight hoops trying to put information up about someone unless they admire the person, and/or their contributions to society. That said I'll try and be dryer. Sleep well. GreenLips (talk) 00:09, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

Unsure of where I am supposed to ask my question. I am trying to put inline citations or footnotes in the Bill Haney article. When I code using <ref> then type the periodical, date, page, title, author and close with <ref>, I thought that is how footnotes or references are added. I wanted to style the reference list using
but when I use this mark-up and view my changes, everything disappears after the <ref> coding.

Can someone tell me why my second footnote is a duplicate of the first?

My second footnote is a duplicate of the first footnote. Am I missing a tag?

Hello GreenLips. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "sandbox".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply ((db-afc))
or ((db-g13))
code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: ((subst:Refund/G13|User:GreenLips/sandbox))
, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. TKK! bark with me! 23:43, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
