Left-libertarianism[edit]

Hello. Please do not delete sourced information from articles, as you did from this one, without first getting a consensus to do so from discussion of the article's talk page. Such editing is disruptive, and if repeated can lead to being blocked from editing. Thanks, Beyond My Ken (talk) 02:26, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

June 2021[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Libertarianism into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted ((copied)) template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 01:35, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Clan MacDonald of Dunnyveg, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Magee and Margaret Stewart. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Rev. William Corrin moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Rev. William Corrin, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Attribution for public domain material[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Draft:Rev. William Corrin. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 20:34, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 18:13, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Clan MacDonell of Glengarry[edit]

Hi, I have noted your edits on the Clan MacDonell of Glengarry article but you have not added the page numbers for the books you have added as references. It is important to add the page numbers to keep the article to a good standard. Please rectify this before I go through and add Tags to each reference which will not look good. QuintusPetillius (talk) 18:48, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I didn't realize that I wasn't using proper sourcing from the archive, and I apologize for not including the page numbers from the source materials. I was using automatic generation for the source and calling it good haha.
I am finishing up on a section in regards to the Jacobite rebellions on the MacDonell of Glemgarry page, and I will see how to incorporate page numbers into all sources from A and A MacDonald. Would citing page numbers be done manually? Handiwork.Pro (talk) 18:53, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, the minimum you would need to add to the references from that book is: " |page=(page number or numbers added here) " without the quotation marks or for multiple pages: " |pages= " again without the quotation marks. If you wanted to add a link to the pages then see the edit page for the coding for this example: [1]. It would be useful if you could add the volume number as well. Thanks. AfC notification: Draft:Rev. William Corrin has a new comment[edit]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Rev. William Corrin. Thanks! Theroadislong (talk) 19:58, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the comment! The actions of what this person did in the historical events of the Isle of Man is noteworthy, given the Isle's history in recent events. Although this person was mentioned and given a biography by A.W. Moore as a notable person in Manx history, any Manx person listed and written of their accomplishments or achievements should be given a chance of review. Also, while there aren't any articles written on either the Cholera Epidemic of 1832 or the Lilly explosion, this could merit an introduction to individuals who helped and put their efforts into assisting those in need. This person, in particular, was driven by their religious affiliations and convictions to what they deem to be right (which is generalizing I know). How could this person, or the events mentioned, constitute to being published? Handiwork.Pro (talk) 20:32, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This person also started a church in his parish called St. Peter's Church that was a farmhouse and began preaching there Handiwork.Pro (talk) 20:33, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
