First, thank you Eric for taking the time to review the article LeSean McCoy. Your suggestions and comments are much appreciated as I am currently a new Wikipedia editor. And yes, I am going to review your comments and make the changes necessary to make the article a Good Article. So, you can keep the article open and I will make the changes ASAP. There is one question I do have though. How would I cite the articles correctly so they are not considered bare urls. As, mentioned above this was my first article editing and tried my best to follow the code. Thanks for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PhillySportsGuru25 (talk • contribs) 23:31, 22 December 2013 (UTC)

Eric, we've finally gotten a response from one of the creators of this nomination (the nominator basically disappeared), who did work on the sourcing as you requested. As this is someone who continued on past the end of the fall semester, I'm hoping we can review it quickly. Is there any chance you can revisit your review and see whether your concerns have been satisfied? If you can't get back to it, please let me know, and I'll put it back into the reviewing pool. Hi EricEnfermero, I opted to take on the requested copyedit of University of Waterloo. It's great to see that someone is trying to bring university articles to a decent standard; this is very important when so many of them (including my alma mater) are in a very poor state.
Having said that, you were right to reject that particular article in its state at the time. I should also say I am very impressed by the care you took to make detailed criticisms of every single section, line by line. A great many GA reviews are much less careful (to say the least).
I did a copyedit first, and then went through your list of issues. Your concerns were certainly correct, because I still found a few of the same issues that you asked to be fixed.
However, having been through that process, I'm now running out of major issues to find with the article. (I haven't looked at captions or references in detail yet.) As an earlier reviewer of the article, do you think there is much more needs to be done; or, are major flaws still easy to spot?
Many thanks for your feedback. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 23:57, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

Hey Eric, from time to time I ask myself, "Hmm, who would be a good administrator that does not have the tools already?", and today, upon asking myself that question, you popped into my head. I know you don't have a ton of Wikipedia-space edits, but your AfD votes, though not a huge sample size, are predominantly in line with consensus, you are a sports editor, which means the occasional vandal to block may come your way, and you have a good AIV record too. Thanks for your offer to help with Jeff Schneider. I addressed SportsGuy17's concerns, expanding the lead and further dividing the article. Source 1 has Schneider himself saying he wanted to play basketball; I guess he just was not ready to concentrate on one sport.
The biggest reason I wanted feedback was because I was unable to dig up much information on Schneider's personal life. I did include the quote towards the end of the article about what he did after his career, but I didn't think that was enough to merit its own section. Other than that, I do not believe there is any more information available about his personal life. Do you think this could still be a good article, even with the absence of any further information about Schneider's personal life? After all, it does cover Schneider's career completely.
Oh, and the reason I decided to work on Schneider is that he was mentioned in the book I used to write the Cal Ripken article, and I decided that must be the preeminent source of information about Schneider. It did not take long to work one, either. Oriolesfan8 (talk) 10:44, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
